Per un domani
Roberto Meloni in Sanremo 2010
The song Per un domani (For a tomorrow) is one of the songs participating in the online voting until 12th January and according to the singer, he has high hopes for this song to be chosen as a finalist. Roberto Meloni commented to esctoday.com about his participation: "For the first time the San Remo festival is open to foreigners as many national festivals do to choose their entries for ESC. That's why my composer and producer are not Italians, they are Greek". The 2010 edition of the contest takes place 18th February.

Roberto Meloni represented Latvia in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest as one of the lead singers of Bonaparti.lv. The group finished fifth in the semi final and 16th in the grand final with the song Questa notte, performed entirely in Italian. In 2008, he returned with the group Pirates of the Sea finishing sixth in the semi final and eleventh in the final with Wolves of the sea.
