LIVE
The show is starting.
Tonight's opening act is a duet sung by Miriam and Alban, our hosts.
Tonight, the hosts will have a short interview with every artist before the performance.
1. Iris Hoxha & Kelly - Zërin tim ta ndjesh
Iris qualified from yesterday's semifinal, while Kelly was one of the participants who didn't qualify. He opens this quiet rock ballad and Iris joins shortly after. Their voices suit the song perfectly and the performance is not bad either, as it adds colour to the slightly repetitive song. Generally a nice opening to tonight's show.
2. Guximtar Rushani & Agim Poshka - Gëzuar
Agim Poshka is the composer of this song. They are both sitting on chairs and the composer, who also plays the guitar tonight, opens the performance. The vocal performance is strong but this ethnic ballad is not very memorable and it might not win the festival.
3. Era Rusi & Julian Bulku - Fjalë dhe gjunjë
The performance starts with Era and Julian standing close to each other, but soon the performance gets moving. During one part of the song, Julian sings into Era's microphone. The song is ethnic and up-tempo and this performance might change the jury's opinion on it.
4. Goldi Halili & Aleksander Gjoka - Tirana Brodway
Goldi is the second winner of the semi final, and just like yesterday, the performance starts with a little speech at the piano. She then goes to the middle of the stage and starts singing this cabaret song along with Aleksander Gjoka who won the 1992 festival and performed in the duets night last year too, with the group Burn. The duo is accompanied by many dancers around and they are not only dancing but also brought their bicycles on stage.
5. Erti Hizmo, Lindita Halimi & Redon Makashi - Nuk të dorezohem
Redon is sitting at a piano while Lindita stands on the stage. After a while the three join on stage to perform this powerful ballad. Redon Makashi already took part in the festival two years ago forming a duo with Mira Konci. They receive warm applause for their strong and powerful peformance.
6. Mariza Ikonomi & Vedat Ademi - La la la (Vazhdoj këndoj)
The title of Mariza Ikonomi's song was changed to La la la, the line she repeatedly sings during the chorus. The singer stands alone on the big stage performing her song until Vedat Ademi joins her on stage during the chorus. The song is a rock ballad and the two voices suit the song perfectly.
7. Kejsi Tola & Voltan Prodani - Ndonjëherë
Voltan sits at the piano and starts the song. Kejsi stands on stage and sings with him tonight. She is wearing a black dress, like all of the participants tonight and in the other nights. The performance of this slow power balls goes very well.
8. Claudio La Regina & Franco Scaravaglione - Ave Maria
Claudio is wearing a purple shirt while Franco is in casual black. Suddenly, the song gets more colour than during the performance on Thursday, which was not very special. The duet fills this song.
9. Erga Halilaj, Adrian Nini & Ronela Hajati - Party
Adrian Nini is the lyricist of this song and he starts the performance with the English part of the song in the background. Erga and Ronela stand at the front and they're accompanied by a guitarist. The dancers are not on stage tonight. The song is a pop song in a style that is not very commong in the festival, and tonight's performance is less energetic due to the missing dancers.
10. Teuta Kurti & Malda Susuri - Mall i pashuar
Teuta is a Kosovar singer. She went all the way from Kosovo to Tirana to sing her up-tempo song, and in the interview with Miriam and Alban she said that she misses her home and family. Tonight, she is wearing a blue shiny dress and along with Malda Susuri, she delivers a perfect performance.
11. Dorina Garuci & Dr. Flori - Sekreti i dashurisë
[broadcast problems]
12. Bojken Lako, Banda Adriatica & Ajkuna - Love love love
Ajkuna is a young singer, who accompanies Bojken and his band. Her voice adds more colour to this classical songs, which is both romatic and rock-like. They are both dressed in purple while the band wears black and white.
13. Rovena Dilo & Eranda Libohova - Përtej kohës
Eranda Libohova won the 1987 festival with her sister Irma and she also competed on many other occasions. Eranda also performed with Era Rusi in last year's duets night. Rovena is dressed in purple while Eranda is wearing bright yellow. The song is an energetic ballad and each of the two ladies adds a unique voice to the performance.
14. Pirro Çako, Rosela Gjylbegu & Eliza Hoxha - Një tjetër jetë
All three are familiar names to the festival, and the song's arrangement is more guitar-based now than in the first show, where it was more of a piano version. Like seen in previous performances, each one adds a special voice to the song.
15. Denisa Macaj & Olta Boka - Aria
Here comes Olta Boka, who represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. She supports Denisa Macaj tonight during the performance of the song Aria. She opens the song, dressed in blue. Denisa, dressed in green, joins only after the first chorus. The song is an ethnic ballad iand it involves operatic backing vocals. Towards the end, Denisa shows her own opera-style abilities.
16. Stefi & Endrri Prifti & Burn - U dogjem mrekullisht
Burn took part in last year's festival, and so did Stefi & Endri. The song is a strong ballad and the hoarseness of Burn's lead singer makes it even stronger. The group receives warm applause.
17. Juliana Pasha & Soni Malaj - Nuk mundem pa ty
Two women in pink dresses and one up-tempo song that fits into their style. The performance is moving and so is the song.
18. Anjeza Shahini & Eneida Tarifa - Në pasqyrë
A power ballad that might win the festival tomorrow. Anjeza in silver and Eneida in blue and both manage to go through the song very well.
19. Kamela Islami & Kristi Popa - Gjëra të thjeshta
Kristi is the composer of the song. Kamela, the woman in black, sings the verse in low tones. She is not alone Krist on stage with Kristias there is also a choir of nine children. They sing a full verse alone and Kamela looks very happy. A choir of children also backed Parashqevi Simaku in 1988, when she won the contest. Is it a sign?
20. Flaka Krelani & Jonida Maliqi - Lë të bëhet çfare te doje
Jonida's unique voice boosts up this ethnic rock song she performs along with Flaka and the guitarist. The three are all dressed in black.

Yeh that is what I said too "juliana's song was made in English first" the melody does not go with the lyrics that is what is not working for many people. I think any song that will win will be totally differen in Olso hey its our tradition. Oh poor Olta...I feel sorry for her....she know she should not give herself that much credit..i think the people hate Hila not Olta cause they dont wanna Aria to win cause it will be Hila again to mad he is good ...he is one of the best composers Go Hila I have more respect for him now ...but I want Juli and Ardit to go to Olso...there were rummors that the Jury is being paid to vote for Juli by Ardit bullshit it happens every year
I have watched live today's night show at Tirana Palace of Congresses.
I think that the stronger act to Oslo is Juliana's. Her performance is strong, she is self confident and the song is already made. I think it would work also in Albanian, but i guess it will -in case of victory- probably performed in English. In Oslo, her song may reach the final without problem.
The strongest applause from the audience was given to Bojken Lako. Denisa and Olta did not receive the warmest welcome, while Flaka and Mariza were definitely better than on TV.
I think Era Rusi diserves to win I love the traditional beat there is asome Era eyes oh god. But Juliana Pasha will win. There are great song Anjeza Dorina Garuci, Bojken Lako, Teuta< Kamela oh God..there ere lots of songs that I liked. I think Era Rusi is asome i loved her song last year. I mean this has to be Julianas Year I think it will be here the jury also will have a hard time. I did not like Aria is way to exagerated.
I didn't liked Flaka's song that much at first, but after couple of times, i LOVE IT.
As the same goes with Anjeza and i think that there will be between Anjeza and Flaka.
Juliana Pasha will NOT win, be sure of that!
I think that Anjeza will win
ANJEZA or FLAKA to OSLO!!!!
I miss Vitrinat SOOOO much. It had low resolution video, but was much more stable.
I guess that Vitrinat's stream was based on this "new" link, so now that everyone joined this new link, Vitrinat crashed.
thank you, this is my favourite song this year!
OMG gjera te thjeshta has got the MOST beautiful Lyrics i EVER heard in my life...
i have deep need now to translate them to you... they are so great... almost made me cry...
If Anjeza doesn't win, we will have the prove that everything in Albania is fixed
ANJEZA ANJEZA ANJEZA ANJEZA
Anjeza was awesome yet again
Anjeza amazed me again, I LOVE HER
!
I have a feeling that the lyrics of these song wore written in English First. Anjeza next and I love Eneida
its funny how Soni looks hot in this "thing" and juliana like Ms. Umbridge from Harry Potter 5
I can't wait Anjeza
I liked today Bojken Lako & Ajkuna.
The song is better with Ajkuna
Will someone add the videos of this night show plssss
)
I liked Olta, too and Eranda with Rovena's song.
Both would have been great singing respective songs, especially Eranda. Amazing voices !!! Hopefully both ladies wil be back to the Festival in the near future !!!!
The song Olta sang with last year was a lot better only. After hearing 'Aria' more than once, it doesn't impress me at all anymore.
olta boka sounds better singing Aria than the actual singer. lol
