It's great that Nusa Derenda is back. Apart from her, I expect a lot from Manca Spik. I'm also curious about Brigita Suler
Based on previous songs by them all, here's my opinion on how promising they are or aren't, lol. It's just fun to specualte.
Sara Kobold - Very average girl-singer with catchy dance-folk-pop. Looks like a typical bimbo so I question her singing abilities, lol.
Brigita Šuler – Well, another one of these Eastern European, big-titted blondes who is below-average talentwise. As long as she keeps her clothes on, focusing on her vocals and have a good song then I could like it.
Nina Pušlar – She seems a bit more serious and more rockish. This could possibly be something for me.
Langa – They are GREAT and I do like their music style!
I expect something good from them.
Saša Zamernik – Couldn't find anything with her.
Ylenia Zobec – She seems like a decent enough singer and has a few interesting songs.
Vaso & D Plejbeks – Couldn't find anything.
Martina Šraj – She's one of these YouTube girls who post videos of herself singing. She seems to lean more towards the modern pop style which is not too promising for me. Thank goodness it's going to be sung in Slovanian! She can sing, but very average voice to me.
Marko Vozelj – Well, I can tell he is not going to be a fan favourite right away unless his song is exceptional.
He's OK.
Petra Pečovnik – Another average "pop-babe"...
Martina Feri – She can sing very good, but she seems to have a jazzy style and I can't stand jazz. Not promising to me.
Zadnji Taxi – This doesn't sound promising at all. Terrible songs before at least.
Manca Špik - Another fake pornstar-like pop woman with less than average live-vocals. Not promising to me and her style is too "Swedish schlager", but it's obvious she will get fans here on this site, lol.
Ansambel Roka Žlindere & Kalamari - Oh WOW! They are WAY more traditional! I love it!
The girl is not the best singer in the world, but acceptable. I hope they have a great song just like the 4 I heard on YouTube. Awww, traditional music warms my heart...
Their HQ videos are beautiful.
I bet people here will bully them saying they have no place in Eurovision because of their style, lol, like usual. Kalamari is also traditional and I like it.
Nuša Derenda - She's just OK.
Tangels - They seem OK and maybe with a good song... I hope they have an up-tempo song.
Anastazija Juvan - Couldn't find anything with her.
Hamo in Gal - Couldn't find anything.
StereoTipi - I look forward to hearing their entry. They seemed OK.
Vlado Pilja - Some rock? He seems OK.
Lea Sirk - Not impressed with any of the songs I heard by her, but there must be a reason why she is directly in the final..??
Ahh, so much unpromising crap, but maybe it will be catchy crap!
Langa and Ansambel Roka Žlindere are the most promising to me. I want something like that for Slovenia!
WOW !! great to see nusa derenda back . she was amazing in 2001, should have won, lets hope she has a great song this year too. slovenia have been unlucky several times in recent years id say
i hope i will like some songs of those and vote for slovenia this time
Marko Vozelj – Moj si zrak
Petra Pečovnik – Iz navade
@Marko
Yes, of course. I meant I only recognize 3 names from the finalists, I didn't include the semi finalists in wat I said.
In the semi I can recognize and remember only 5
I will watch older music by them later for fun to check their style.
And it is not Maro Vozelj, but MarKo Vozelj, just like me Marko!!
@ Layla
Brigita Suler participated 2 times in Slovenian NF, last year she had song "Druga liga'!! You know her for sure!!!
Hmm, I have to discover more previous songs by these names on YouTube later, after I settle from the aftershock of the semis tonight.
I only recognize 3 of the finalist names: Nusa, Lea Sirk, Stereotipi.
My favorite Slovenian entries are : Zbudi se (97), Energy(01), Stop (05), Mr Nobody (06).... my number 1 is Omar Naber, which I believe was very unterrated
Correction:
4. Tangels - Raay – Kaj in kam
6. Anastazija Juvan - Miran Juvan – Nežna izpod prstov
8. Hamo in Gal - Gal Gjurin – Črni konji čez nebo
10. Stereotipi - Zvone Tomac – Daj mi en znak
12. Vlado Pilja - Marin Legovic – Tudi fantje jočejo
14. Lea Sirk - Patrik Grebol – Vampir je moj poet
Nusha Derenda had an AMAZING song in ESC, I hope she will have again smth good, but of course modern, not like her previous entry!!It was good then, but now!!
I expect AMAZING song from Brigita Suler also, I
her!! Last year she had the best song in Slovenian NF, I didn't like Slovenian entry in Moscow!!
My favourite Slovenian entry is 2003 Karmen Stavec "Nanana", But Alenka Gotar and Rebeka Dremelj were AMAZING too!
I LOVE YOU SLOVENIA!!!!!!
Nusa is back
I hope she has a great song
Good luck Slovenia!
