I don't see why people have to defend hadise all the time lol... EVERY singer in this world has fans and haters. Not everyone will like Hadise... and not everone will hate her either...
I like many on Haidses songs, Dum Tek Tek is ok but it didnt deserve to win on the night. She should have sung a song like 'Deli Oglan'.
No, it's enough, Mister Axel.....
First of all, she has no voice... she just can't sing. Second of all, her behaviour in Moscow irritated me (acting being ill...to hide the in-ability to sing), bad loser (in Belgian newspaper she complained about neighbour voting etc...), the fact that she did not wanted to sing for Belgium (her homecountry, the country that gave her all her chances),... do you wanna hear more , Mister Marko.....
@ Axel
Come on you say: too much.... write few things you don't like about her!!
Kenan asked you twice, but you don't wanna answer coz you don't know what to answer, actually you don't know anything about her, but she irritates you!!!???
Too much of it....
@Axel Kearns
Why? What's wrong with her attitude?
I can not explain mate, I don't really like Dum tek tek... but I can not stand her attitude. I hated the fact that she not really sang the song herself.... but it's me, my friend. I have high hopes once again for this year's Turkish entry. I love Manga.
@Axel Kearns
Why?
I don't just wanna bash Turkish entries... I love most Turkish entries but I can not stand Hadise.
I loved Dum Tek Tek in 2009.I think she's amazing
@Axel Kearns
If you want to bash Turkish entries here,you need to learn some English

really she know show , i love you hadise
In the case of last year's tUrkey's entry it was a huge problem as that backing vocal did 95 % of the singing.....
@Thorazin Corazon
But that wasn't nice! Every hosting country should have 'surrogate'-microphones! To not have microphones any more isn't a good excuse!
TurQuality
Well no that is rather unfortunate, but I think people just need to let these things go! It's not like the microphone problems would have had any impact on the final result, because nobody watching would have noticed, I certainly didn't.
My favourite this year was Ireland, and they had problems with the graphics, because they didn't like the ones the Russians gave them and the Russians said they couldn't be changed, despite the fact they changed them for Portugal and Malta. However realistically it didn't change the results in any way, so i'm not complaining about it. It's just Eurovision was several months ago now, all these issues are so miniscule that when they're still being dragged out 8 months later it gets a bit tiresome!
Thorazin: now i will give an important detail about russia's scandals..
watch 1st semifinal performance of turkey.. female back vocal uses a mouth microphone...
and in final russians says that "mouth mics are broken and we don't have more" to turkish team in the last moment before to go stage and they give a hand microphone to hadise's female backvocal(although she never used it in rehearsals and she had to dance in some parts)... if u listen carefully u don't hear female backvocal's voice in final.. is it normal??
Thank God she only had to playback.... the only thing she's really good in... as long as she doesn't need to sing, she's fine
"She couldn't do her best mostly because of her illness,and yes the music system was not good but it was not the main factor .The camera work was also terrible.We could not see anything!(I saw the best scenes from an amateur camera)"
Look, no offence but I wish Turkish people would stop making excuses for Hadise's performance. OK the camera work wasn't great and the sound system was a bit dodgy, but it was also like that for all the other participants. The Swedish delegation had problems getting decent sound quality because they use different equipment in Sweden than in Russia, and it wasn't just limited to Sweden and Turkey, if they suffered sound problems so did everybody else. And as for the camera angles, well plenty of delegations complained about them, again this wasn't just limited to Turkey.
At the end of the day Hadise did give a good performace, vocally she was a bit hit-and-miss but overall she entertained people and got 4th place, but we have heard over and over again people making excuses for her vocals inparticular, and its getting a tad repetitive.
@Lina !!!
Turkey came 7th in 2008, not 8th!
@mer meid, personal i thing people now care more for the whole show on stage than everything else, latest 10 years winning or taking good places songs have good stage shows . Just see how many winning songs have shows : Estonia 2001, Latvia 2002, Turkey 2003, Ukraine 2004, Greece 2005, Russia 2008 and Norway 2009, even and Finland 2006 and Serbia 2007 have some kind of show on stage.
@Lina
She couldn't do her best mostly because of her illness,and yes the music system was not good but it was not the main factor .The camera work was also terrible.We could not see anything!(I saw the best scenes from an amateur camera)
Of course taste differs from person the person.What I want to say is even if a performer falls on the stage,it does not mean that he/she will flop coz most esc followers care about the song itself not the performance!
@Mer maid , one turksih girl make a comment below and she say " now im sure she was right about the bad music system in russia, she sings live in the video and sounds great love u girl!!!!!!!! ", now you say that she was sick in whole eurovision week
anyway ... i just say my opinion about 2008 and 2009 Turkish songs
Dum tek tek is very nice song and deserve to be in top 10 but not in # 4, a place between 7 - 9 will be better ( this is my opinion ) , and Mor ve Ötesi deserve 3 or 4 place and NOT 8 th place .
lol candyman she had 2 albums after esc, one in turkish other one is in english and it makes about 17 new songs so ?
She can sing.. but not like very good and I don't have anything with her voice. I hate the way she forces her words out in every language she sings. Good performance though, although she doesn't look that good in this vid.
@Lina!!!
Dum Tek Tek had a very catchy tune so it was impossible to resist it. Generally,most of the ESC fans vote for the song not the artist!and everybody knew she was sick whole eurovision week,she said it was a miracle she could be on the stage
I believe she was the victim of an evil-eye
Anyway,I believe the fact that she is a good artist and has a nice voice and Turks wouldn't have supported her from the beginnig if they had thought she was bad.
