FYR Macedonia: Singers announced for Skopje 2010
This year 126 songs were entered for this year's Skopje 2010 Festival. Out of these, a jury of six people picked 28 songs to be performed at the event. Earlier a list of all songtitles as too their respective authors had already been published on December 30th, 2009 (see here). Today the performers were announced.
The singers with their songs are:

The national selection process Skopje 2010 will feature a total of three shows, two semifinals and a final, where these 28 songs will fight it out for the honour to represent the Balkan country. The semi finals will take place on February 18th and 19th, while the national final of Skopje 2010 will take place on February 20th. 14 songs will be performed in each semifinal, and a total of 8 will make it to the final. The winning entry will be decided by a mix of televote and 6-member jury vote at a 50/50 split.
The draw for the running order will be done in early February during a special tv show.

22. Darko Ilievski - Lagi (The newest member of the company of macedonian newcomers. He has only 2 singles till now, although he is already star here and very well known singer. His first hit single was also one of the bigest hits in 2009 in Macedonia: "Ti mozes":

23. Vlatko Lozanoski - Letam Kon Tebe (The best macedonian singer at this time, the bigest star in Macedonia, the one with the most promising voice... There's no many interesting names in MKD preselection. Perhaps Yova Radevska - her song back then was very nice
Macedonians IMO have problem choosing wide- appealing song, because they most often vote for songs they like, no matter fact that (i call it) MKD r'n'b and bland guitar ballads with a touch of ethnic moment isn't spread across the former country, not to mention whole continet. I mean of artists such as Tamara, Lambe, Vrčak, some Elena's songs... most of them have many big hits at home, but that style simply don't fits even to average Serbian taste, so it's hard to believe that it would to Lithuanian, for example.
On the other hand, I respect that in recent years most of the notable songwriters participate in preselection (and many of performers too), and it results in several hits at least for domestic use
My favourite MKD artist are Bei the Fish and PMG Collective, but they certainly won't take part in ESC in near future (and most probably never)

My best mate Milena, her mum had Suzana Spasovska over as a guest here in sydney a few years ago.. she not only had a habit of shoplifting from the two dollar asian shops lol, she also decided at the dinner table to ask my friend's brother in law who is black latino if he "has a big black dick" LOOOOOOOOOOL

Soňa was OK, didn't like her voice.
I already guessed a few of those you said (Martina, Miro) were famous so they have good chances, but I don't think Tomáš do now because his song was pretty disappointing and bad. I am expecting a lot of people who loved him last year on this site to say so too, lol. Hudba z Marsu are also famous there, right? I can at least remember having seen several of their music videos on TV when we had a Slovakian/Czech music channel. I knew about them years ago. I also remember having seen/heard some of those Robo's, but can't remember what exactly it was I heard with them, lol.
Kristina probably has a good chance too, her song is just SO Eurovision... We don't know the voting habits of Slovakians though, lol. Last year they let a booooooring ballad win, so maybe they don't like the typical ethnic pop Eurovision-style, I don't know.

Be carefull with Miro Jaros, he is one of famous singers in Slovakia, my friends from Slovakia love him, he has ballad which ppl use to choose for ESC! I'm afraid he has big chances! I'm disaponted with Tomas Bezdeda and Martina Schindlerova, but they are famous in Slovakia, they were in final last year!!
