20 acts for the final
Malta: Semi final results announced tomorrow
The televoting for the sixth semi final will be closed tomorrow at 16:30 CET. The televoting results and the jury results will then be compiled and the list of 20 finalists will be revealed during the news program, which is broadcast at 20:00 CET. The draw of the running order will take place on Sunday at the Corinthia San Georg in Attard. All singer and songwriters are invited to attend the draw.
The final of Malta Eurosong 2010 will take place on 20th February with 20 acts competing. The show will be broadcast live from the Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta' Qali and it will be hosted by Keith Demicoli, Pauline Agius and Owen Bonnici. The eventual winner will be chosen by jury voting and televoting counting for 50% each.

MY DREAM, FAKE and STORIES for me, the others are CRAP and BORING!! I hate to say it because its my country after all but that's the truth!!!
Let us hope that Malta is sensible enough to choose Lawrence Gray. He is by far their best artist!!! They should have sent him ages ago. I simply don't know what they are waiting for.
Since I discovered Lawrence, I haven't stopped listening to his songs on You Tube. I get tears in my eyes each time I hear him. He sings each song with great passion and emotion. My favourites are 'You Are My Lover. and 'Gethsemane'. Fantastic!!!
Samsara must win for Malta.
sorry but i didn't like any song, i think they were all cheesy... but if i have to choose, my vote would go for a song from gerard james borg... he is soooo sexy, but his songs makes me vomit, and that's good, because i have to loose some weight
10 songs which I really want to see them in the final:
Samsara - good mix of different styles
Stories - great voice
Grave Dancers - the most original idea and performed really well
My Dream - sweet song with a great voice
Mirage - i love the style
I surrender - nice melody
Once in a Lifetime - The best duet in this selection
Here I am - just for the sake of her beautiful voice
Twenty Thousand Leagues - great style which suits mike really well
Change - Good song and vocals
For me, there is only one possible winner: Lawrence Gray. Good song. Exceptional vocals. Miles ahead of the others.
Malta doesn't seem to realise that the quantity of songs isn't important, but the QUALITY !! The standards seem to get worse each year. Rather 10 good songs in one program than 48 karaoke competition song sung in some seedy studio. I know Malta only has about 25 people living there, but maybe they should select internally for once.

As long as J. Anvil, Dario and Dorothy makes it (and one of them wins) I will be satisfied. I'd also like to see Wayne and Francesca in the final. Good luck Malta! Please choose Mirage.

a very well done to whomever decided foregin composers shouldn't take part.. this year's songs are not up to standard.. there hasn't been a msfe just like the one in 2005..

The only hope for Malta this year - Grave Dancers with a BIG choreography! If not, they won't even pass the semis

Agreed. Malta's 1st stage rounds were crap. The webcast was boring with bad voilume and the performers were unprofessional.
Its a shame.

ITS A GREAT pity that after an abdence of six years, lawrence gray came back with such an old fashioned, boring and outdated song.
i hope he wont win!!!! wake up malta we must learn from last year, a good voice is not enough, and what if we was miles better than stories and that means quite a lot.
