I agree Industry, are great.perfect harmony, and they are very good "Live".maybe they will be the choice.but knowing Ms Martin, and co,they won't be in the selection.
I hope for a best song from Ireland in 2010
i think the band industry will represent ireland for some reason!
Industry will be perfect choice, but that can't happen of course!
Leona Daly or Niamh Kavanagh for Ireland 2010 with a good Irish ballad
i loved roisin dubh last year. 10 times better than et cetera
Lamph, should not send any of those seven horrible tracks.awful.
The best Irish winner "The voice!!
Best ever Irish winner is "In your eyes",... such a beautiful song and such a good singer.....
Best Irish winner was definitely 'What's Another Year?'
Haven't been very keen on any Irish entries over the past decade although Brian Kennedy's was by far the best. Perhaps not a very good song but a slick and professional performance.
Ireland is definitely one of my favourites ESC countries. Last year those girls were unfairly voted. I just cannot understand how Finland got picked up by the jury over Ireland, for example. Finland 09's wild card is a mystery for me. Good luck Ireland!
Zanic, 'In your eyes' is one of the best Irish wins and one of may favourite ESC entries. They could certainly go for something like that again.
@ garry chelsea
I 100% agree, Ireland shouldhave been in the final.
I dont have hight hopes with the same judging panel as last year picking the 5 songs for the national final .. Their choice in music has a lot to be desired .. Get with the times RTE!! If you dont want to win it then dont enter!!

Review on Irish Eurovision participation
2000 - A tad Cheesy, "Milenium of Love" was arounf my no.11
2001 - The worst Irish song tbh. Very boring
2002 - Another boring ballad."
But Ireland wasn't in Eurovision in 2002. We were relegated after our poor 2001 result! It's hard to take your comments serious when you criticise entries that never existed.
ireland were robbed last year they deserved to reach the final
I haven't been very enthusiastic about any Irish entry from the last decade. Last year was OK but I didn't think it would make the final. Having said that, it was well performed on the night and probably deserved to make the final more than one or two others from that semi.
Thanks for all the nice comments folks...would dearly love for my Ireland to win again and bring the contest back to Dublin! Last time we won was in Oslo, so hopefully that will bring us some luck. Hope to see you all in Dublin for Eurobash 2010, on Feb 20th!
Awk my wee Ireland already talkin bout there entry! Excitement abound!
Well I would like to see us send something modern but with hints of the Celtic influences. Sounds tough to come by but honestly what ever we send I'll still support cos I'm a proud Irish lad but I'll call it shite if it is indeed shite
I'm really looking forward to hearing details about the Irish selection, as I always do, as it is where my grandfather was from. I agree 'In Your Eyes' is Ireland's best ever entry, although I have been listening to 'The Voice' a lot lately- could I change my mind?
I have mixed opinions about their songs from the last decade, but I really wanted Leona Daly to beat Dustin in 2008. I wish I could go to that party in Dublin next month!
I like everybody's suggestions. But could some certain people talk about Serbia's entry elsewhere please?!
It is close with the Greek NF..................cool
@ Keith
I hope you will like it!!
I don't like his interval act too! But I liked interval act with red and blue painted dancers, they are from my folklore group!!
@ Laila
I'm watching Bregovic on TV at the momment! He told that he will compose 3 songs and show wil be in the end of February, they are not sure when excatly!!Televoting only will decide entry!
I really liked Ireland last year. I know the entry was pop/rock and was definitely alot more pop than rock however it was a decent solid entry
The song was catchy, Sinéad pulled off the vocals on the night, and it was a very likeable performance/ song, and for me it's a shame it didn't qualify, still i'm happy it did relatively well in it's semi
But you don't like Bregovic!!

That's not really true though, I just liked Stian's comment that it was the most boring interval act ever. What a wonderfully bold thing to say!
I think the worst interval act must have been Luxembourg 1984 (I think), when they had those men in black with white ropes or something, weird circus art, dragging on and on, bah! Humbug. Three out of four Serbian songs have been really good. I expect a fourth good song in 2010.
@ Laila
OMG you are totally for GuÄŤa trumpet festival!!
Every year Bregovic performs there together with Bulgarian singers you like (guy with long hair and 2 women in Bulgarian national costums from interval act
)! last year many ppl from Sweden were in GuÄŤa!! LOL
You should come!
It's the biggest trumpet festival in the world, and next year it will be 50th in a row!! They expect 1.000.000 visitors!!
It is confirmed - Goran Bregovic compose for Serbia!
I'd like to know his definition of cheerful his songs are so drab.
