Songs from spot #14 to #16 shared the same score given by the jury, therefore its members decided to grant them a place in the competition.
Among the finalists we recognise several known faces, such as Luminita Anghel (2005 Romanian representative), Zero (2009 Romanian national final), Paula Seling (1998, 2003, 2004 and 2008 NF), Ovi (2009 Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix) or Laura Petrescu, former member of Wassabi (2007 NF).
The Romanian jury was made up by Călin Geambaşu, Dana Dorian, Andrei Kerestely, Alexandra Cepraga, Dida Drăgan, Adrian Despot, Cornel Fugaru, Titus Andrei, Andrei Partoş, Horia Romanescu and Alexandru Catalan.

I am sorry for you and your family, Mira.
After reviewing the live performances (some of which I didn't know) I changed my mind about a few songs. Craig's performance last saturday really surprised me, she was very professional as were The Shanksters. They may not have my favourites songs but they seem to be more mature performers. We're not in contest about studio versions, but live ones.

Romania will never send song in Romanian in ESC coz 40 % of their singers sing in English even out from ESC....imagine than in ESC!

Good luck to all 16 hopefuls. Are there any songs performed in Romanian? Brace ourselves for all those lovely accents. 'See you in heaven, Michael'? It sounds ominous... creepy.
I knew Dalma would be in the finals!!! Can't wait for her to win the competition!

where can i find the list with all participants ???? how do u know morandi is only on 80th place??
i think mihai can sing the song he rejected because the jury is already looking a vocal for that song.

If it's true that Mihai first turned down that song and now wants to do it anyway because it's one of the favorites, I think romanian tv should not allow that. I have the impression that Mihai thinks he's above the law,......
i read that the jury will choose in 25th,26th and 27th 15 songs and then they will chose the finalists. mihai traistariu may sing that song with michael tribute and the song Come as one is the favorite song of the jury and that is the song that traistariu rejected and now he wants to sing the song because the jury is looking for a vocal...

I'm glad Marius Moga and Xonia are not there, but I wish Paula Seling, Ovi, Catalin Josan and Anda Adam weren't there as well. I know it depends on the song, but their names are not promising at all considering what they've had before.
The title "See you in heaven, Michael" makes the song a joke already to me. Enough with MJ already! Dumb title and most likely going to be a dumb song.
Too bad Blaxy Girls just missed out, being 17th. Glad to see Zero back though. I hope they have another great song, they should have won last year instead of Balkan ..... like to party. I look forward to hear Luminita's song.
