It has been confirmed,that Justin Lee Collins,has submitted a song to Irish selection.please god,say he won't win.it would be like a real life turkey.he can represent his own country the UK.there is also good news regarding Ireland,1993 winner Niamnh Kavangh,has a song in the selection.its supposed to a strong Irish,anthemic ballad.thats great news.they are waiting to confirm,if Johnny Logan,has submitted a song.there is lots of Boyzone,connections in song submission.at last we may be in with a chance.BUT PLEASE NO JUSTIN LEE COLLINS,NO MORE TURKEYS.
I like Justin but not for representing Ireland in Eurovision - maybe UK???
**serious
Layla
lmao well thats true, he does look like a comedian
But he can do serious things, like a few months ago he did a documentary on Channel 4 where he reunited all the original cast members of Fame. It was funny in parts but it was a serios documentary and he did a good job
Candyman
Honestly, god knows
The BBC hint that they have something planned but they're not revealing anything.
what about United Kingdom??? What's going on there
@Thorazin Corazon & Zanic
I saw that video among others of him singing on YouTube already. I just couldn't look at him and take him seriously because he even LOOKS like a comedian. I find him very hard to take seriously... Maybe if he has a good song... I'm just not getting my hopes up, lol.
Sent my entry today, let's hope we get 5 brilliant finalists!
Whoops sorry for the all bold post, meant to have a after Laila's name
Also for all who cares watch this;

Its Justin saying he is one of the names trying to represent Ireland on a live RTÉ tv show.. Soooo does this mean its official and Linda said yes and RTÉ are keeping things quiet like what they did in 2008. only revealing Dustin at the VERY last second
oh and here is his live singing;
http://www.youtube.c(...)/watch?v=I1_kyS3djgY
its good and he is so funny at the start of the video..
pity Chris Moyles (Radio 1) is a prick..
@Laila ♥ YEUROVIZJON!
JLC is a very good singer, he was in his school chior age 13 - 17 and also performed on the west end where he recieved out of 60 reviews;
56 good, 3 average and only 1 bad review, from an almost unknown reviews site..
I actualy would dare to say, with a good song, hopefully an uptempo number JLC could do well. He would get the United Kingdom's 12 points for sure and I know of him here in Norway so who knows where else in Europe the name is known.
But If I had to choose one person to represent Ireland and this is for the win it would be Imelda May. She is beautiful, has a great voice, writes all her own songs and Eurovision would be a huge boost for her career outside Ireland.
"but if they go and select that comedian, Justin Lee Collins, then I will be a bit frustrated."
No no Layla hes actually a very good singer
He said he intends to take part with a serious song, as hes doing it for a Eurovision documentary.
I really hope they get something good this year, but if they go and select that comedian, Justin Lee Collins, then I will be a bit frustrated.
All the best to Ireland! I be thinking about you when I am on a plane!!
Good Luck Ireland !! I hope for a great song !!!
It will be another year of wasted opportunity.as Ms Martin,and co,will **** it up again.
Ádh mór ort....
I think they should have at least 10 songs to select from and if it's the same panel choosing the 5 songs, I'm not optimistic.
I hope Ireland can still enter the finals. Still waiting....
I'm waitin with anticipation!
btw., i'm #1
