Slovenia: First group of songs available
These are the first seven acts competing at the semi final, to be held on February 20th. The other seven semi finalists will present their songs on February 6th, the seven automically qualified finalists will follow on February 14th.

Para me is Brigita Šuler's third consecutive participation at EMA. In 2008, she came third with Samara and in 2009, she placed equal 13th, therefore last, in the final. This time, her song is written by Mihael Hercog and his fiancée Saša Lendero, one of Slovenia's most popular singers, who had entered EMA as an artist on two occasions already placing 2nd both times, namely in 2005 with Metulj and in 2006 with Mandoline.
Nina Pušlar won the 2nd edition of Bitka talentov, the Slovenian equivalent of Pop Idol, which also launched Omar Naber's career after he had won the first edition. Dez is Nina's first attempt at EMA.
Roko mi daj, the second song written by Mihael Hercog and Sasa Lendero, is Langa's third attempt to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2008, they placed second with Za svobodo divjega srca. In 2009, they teamed up with Manca Spik and won the televoting with their song Zaigraj muzikant but placed 2nd overall again.
Ylenia Zobec is no stranger to EMA either, already having participated in 2004, 2006 and 2008. Priznam will be her 4th entry at EMA.

I don't know that song! It's nice really,we can sing it together, but I'm not sure If you wanna hear my Eastern European English accent while singing! LOL 
Didrik is the first in the poll here, I knew that will happen coz Kempe's songs are always on the top of polls in this site!

But it seems that esc fans don't wanna see him representing Norway! Only 4,6% voted for him in the poll and he is the last....
Yeheeey Good boy! 
He is pretty popular in Norway among ESC fans. Remember, he was 3rd last year. But this year he may have to tough of a competition..

Yes their outfit is awful, that's so true!! And you are right those kind of songs are for sitting next to seaside somewhere in South Europe....but sometimes they can be good for ESC!
I think this year EMA is strong till now...
Thanks God you think they are not cheap coz I started to wonder If I see things in right way!! Laila confused me, she sometimes goes too far, according to her I think 80% of female singers who participate in ESC are cheap and bimbos....

I like songs in their native country, but it depends on the song really. This song by Langa is a bit too boring (and their pants is a bit outdated, leather pants on guys is not my cup of tea..hehe), The song gives me a little of the same feeling as Croatia's song last year. (I liked Igor Cukrov better though). Its the kind of song you could hear when you sit outside at an outdoor restaurant in the south of Europe zipping a glass of wine, enjoying life and listening to them play live...hehe. Well, I don't consider any of them cheap. Cheap is Slutlana-type of girls..girls who needs to show their body parts and shake their boobs and ass to get attention...hehe

Yes she sounds like Celine Dion, and that's the type of ballad I really like! maybe too American but i like it... But I think those 2 guys from Langa sing very nice too and their ballad is good, i thought maybe you will like it, tho you usually don't like songs in native languages as i noticed! And please Sara tell me do you think those girls from Slovenian NF are cheap, coz Laila said they all are! I'm really curious to see If you think that too.....

Why they just didn't give us full songs....
For all those who think that Slovenian song will be in English i have to say that you are wrong. The rules for this years slovenian representative state that he or she has to sing in Slovenian in Oslo...
The songs are all okay, but nothing really stands out .. hopefully the best is yet to come =D
i like the songs, I hope that in 2010, Slovenia will be back in the final again! Too bad that Omar Naber didn't participate again this year, he was the best in 2009 and deserved to win the NF! I think that Nusa will win, this time there will be no corrupted jury to stop her
well i was very nervous about langa's song... i had high hopes... but it's kinda boring maybe it gets better at the end like Zaigraj muzikant. but i love Para me!! but the best song are probably still to come: Nuša Derenda, Skupina T*Angels, Vlado Pilja, Marko Vozelj, Petra Pečovnik, Manca Špik... we'll se

I actually think some songs are very good. I liked Nina Sara, Brigita and Saša the most. Langa and Ylenia are ok and Vasco & D Plejbeks is bad.
None of the songs are awful, but again nothing all tht good either. Better standard than other EMA's it seems... but hey ho, the miming is stupid as usual
hmmm... my opinion after listening all of them: Nina and Sara are very beautiful girls, really, but their songs- bad bad bad... in fact, i think the same for all of the other songs.. bad and boring... but if i would have to choose, it'd be Lang ( nice and relaxing melody, it has a potential) and Ylenia who has great voice and capacity and the ballad is solid..
such a shame Slovenia didn't send any good song after Cvet z juga
