Nine songs in the final
Cyprus: Deep Zone disqualified
The song Play, written by Miglena Staneva and performed by Deep Zone, has been disqualified from the Cypriot final as it was announced by RIK today. The broadcaster’s rules state clearly that no part of the finalist songs can be made available before the night of the final where they will be heard for the first time. Play was found to have been made available on file sharing sites and youtube and although it was withdrawn soon enough the rules have been broken.
Play will not be replaced in the final lineup which now looks like this:

The Cypriot final starts at 8.15 CET on Sunday 7th February and it will be broadcast from RIK1, RIK Sat and Cypriot Radio 3. There will also be a live webcast available on the CyBC website for international fans.

Good! I didn't like their song anyway and I'm pleased they can't win now, lol.
@Stelios only if Cyprus have strong song and too much luck can qualif. to the final , but and even if Cyprus pass to the final do you thing is going to be very easy in top 10 ? Also if Lisa Andreas goes again maybe she is not so good like 2004 ( just take for exampel Chiara from Malta in 2009 ) so nothing is sure. Anyway she is singer now? Beacuse since 2004 no news from Lisa Andreas in music industry
@lina : yes, 2004 and 2010 are very different years and 2010 will be very hard like 2009.. but at least cyprus can qualify to final with lisa..christina was really average but it managed to reach 14th place.. a better song can make final.. trust me..

@Kenan in ESC the winner take it all, so for me if Cyprus take 2 place or last place in semifinals will be same thing, maybe that sound egoistic but i speak like that beacuse Cyprus participate for 30 years now with no winning

" lisa andreas for cyprus 2011 " , and who telling you that if Lisa Andreas sing a song for Cyprus again she will get good position ? 2004 was the first ESC with semifinal and things was different , now is more countries , huge lobbys around Europe vote for some specific countries and also CyBC dont care for ESC . As i remember last year Cyprus minister of interior says that Cyprus participate in ESC just for participation , they dont care about if Cyprus will pass to the final or not . But is one funny thing ... people of Cyprus from taxes pay for that participation ( beacuse minister of interior aprove each year the budget for CyBC ) .
I loved their entry in 2008 and they were soo misqualified...

Javine from 2005 might come back to the ESC stage. BBC contacted her I believe they asked her to participate in a national selection of some sort and the top 2 will then sing the 'Final song' against each other and the winner will go to Oslo.
But this is only leaked information i found of a British website (currently searching for the link)

I'm also trying to find the full version of the Albanian english entry. but I only found a leaked demo on a website. But Ole Gunnar Zetterstr�m allready posted another link of her singinf live. but I'm looking for the Full recorded version
I sometimes look to much into things, ESCtoday should give us some information along these lines and see if they can get confirmation on participants such as Javine for example

Why does ESC today never update news for Countries like Ireland, The UK or France. I allready know 2 people who 'might' be going into a British show to represent the UK. Also RTÉ confirmed 4 of the names that will be in the Irish national Final..

Well I hope the ESCtoday start updating things on more countries than the countries currently having their national finals you never know people might find some info about the UK, France, Ireland or Greece intresting instead of reading about trivial things most Eurofans know allready such as 'interviews' or 'composers'
