Eurofairy
TVR chose Romania's Eurovision mascot
After several debates lasting for hours, Eurofairy was declared the winner of the contest. The artwork has been created by Carmen Dumitrescu Stefania, a 50 year old architect from Bucharest. The mascot will suffer small improvements and will become a member of the Romanian team for Eurovision 2010.
Meanwhile, these days the 16 finalists are filming the videoclips that will very soon be made available on tv and online until the 6th of March, the day when the national final is scheduled to take place.

500 euro for Romanian people is very huge number, and anyway i thing the point wasnt the money .

Lovely Mascot !! But i thing dress must have more flags and not only Romania , Finnish and half Greek Anyway Mascot hairs complete the rest flags...LOL
haha completely pointless but I love it! People are saying it's a waste of money etc, but somehow I doubt it cost loads and it's not doing anybody any harm ... lighten up guys!

I think it looks really nice,cute. I think there should probably have been more flags on it though? Maybe if they were smaller more would fit on it, lol. It's cute at least. I don't understand its purpose though? Is it supposed to be a life-size mascot on the final? Someone wearing it as a costume? Or is it only going to be used on logos or something?
