Kristina is great ! ;)

@ Laila ♥ YEUROVIZJON!

Like I said, you want Burka contest and that we turn back the clock to the 50's.

That's ok, everyone's entitled to theirs.

@New in Town
I don't care how loose you might be, but I do not like slutty acts and it always cheapens a performance for me. Also, if her vocals are bad then she doesn't deserve to win in my opinion, but like I said, I haven't bothered to watch it yet.

Ohhh I changed my order of songs!! Kristina's performance really isn't suitable for "Horehronie" Song is about nature in Slovakia, river Hron which flows through beautifull mountains and all beauties of Slovakia, but performance is not suitable for me, still I like song as song and I will put it on my 3rd place!!
Mista and Martina had AMAZING performance + songs are really my type!!
1. Mista (L)
2. Martina Schindlerova (L)
3. Kristina (L)
4. Michaella (L)
I'm waiting for Miro Jaros and that will be my TOP 5 from SVK!! ;)

to Tonton: Each nation is relatively primitive in some things - maybe we can wonder what song will choose your country. I think each nation has its own history, its own culture and we cannot await that all countries will have the same culture as west Europe. More tolerance is necessary and not to do a new division of Europe. Each culture brings to EU something new and we should accept each other. I think every man can have other music taste and we can only accept if majority choose the bad song in our own opinion. I see for example song of Robert Mikla as very primitive and stupid, the person the same - but what to do if he has significant popularity in some segment of population. Sometimes I wonder what stupid song is on Nr. 1 in UK chart - but it is still decision of the concrete folk and you can only accept it.

2 GREAT SONGS AND 2 PURE S*** what the F--- !!! there were 6 great songs in this SEMI ! and you chose THE 2 WORST ONES ! DUMBAKIA !

@ Laila ♥ YEUROVIZJON!

Well, she made a show and didn't perform in a Burka.. so I guess you will not like the song anymore hahaha ;)

I find it funny how people can start dislike a song because of a NF performance (that most likely will change till may anyhow)... the song is still the same song.

Kristina for Slovakia!!

I haven't seen their performances, but if Kristina was bad and still managed to get 36% then we already know the winner. I hope I won't dislike her performance too when I watch it later because then I can' support it even if it's a good song. A tragedy singer can always ruin good songs. :S

Good that Smola a hrušky also qualified.

Hi Sara :P

Yeah once again you're so right. I'm a ballad-guy, I'm a huge fan of ballads in the eurovision. I tend to like/love a big part of them.

I agree with you when you said Maria Arredondo needs to perfom a llittle bit better tomorrow, because she does really need it. I think her voice was not strong enough for the song that she was perfoming. So I also hope she won't be that nervous tomorrow.

I know you're quite excited for MGP's final (I'm also excited and I'm not even Norwegian) and this is how you should be, because this final is might be one of strongest ones in years. I can see any of those 8 acts winning the competition. There is going to be a very intense competition.

Congratulations Norway! And Sara let me wish you, in advance, a very good show! Have fun and make the wisest of choices. :D

I also hope they will choose Tomas this time :) My second favourite is Peter Bazik.

@ Marios Gre

Are u kidding me? If there are any countries that have bad taste in this contest is the western ones... and that's why we fail too often aswell.

But Slovakia is NOT east, please get your facts straight. It is central Europe and nothing else.

Shevek

I was right. Just check the article on the MGP final esctoday has just published.

Unfortunately it seems that the taste of the easterh nations is in many cases 30 years ago. It reminds me of Bulgaria 2009 : S Pitty...

Yes, MGP has a super-final. If I remember correctly, it will be 4 songs, but I am not sure about the number of songs ...

@ Mr. Sir :D

I kind of agree. I'm afraid people will take for granted that a certain entry will win and not vote for it when they know how much % it got...

it could still loose, especially if people think like that.

So don't take anything for granted and continue voting for your favorite.

@ Mina X

I found Thomas generic, not sure he will attract enough televotes really... but that's just my personal opinion.

Well we will have to wait and see.

For me Kristina is in her own league in this and should be the winner.

Mr. Sir :D [58773]

I loved first place, but I think they shouldn't show the percentage since it might discourage some people from voting for a certain song and only .1% could make a difference.

Off topic: Sara, are you still there? Will there be a super-final like there was in Finland?

Yes Mina

Sat 6 Feb 2010 00:31:02

Yes, it's a matter of taste.
Anyway I hope that if they choose it, they will change the show and the outfits (and Kristina will have some singing lessons but that's the smaller problem) and then they might have a chance.
Personally, I still think that Tomas is Slovakia's best chance for the final, at least from what I've seen so far.

Marios Gre [10986]
Sat 6 Feb 2010 00:29:45

Her voice was good enough (it still needs imptovement), but unfortunately the presentation was a tragedy. Bad dress, bad choreography, bad gimmicks... Even if this one is the slovakian entry, no jury will vote for this circus... Keep the song and chance completely the performance.

Shevek Urras [60988]
Sat 6 Feb 2010 00:27:09

Thanks for the link, Mina. I've watched Kristina's performance and the sound is way too bad in order for me to assess her singing. The stage presentation is so ESC (perhaps a bit too much, imo), and that will bring her televotes.

@ Mina X

But we still live in the 2010's right? Folk inspired with a touch of current :)

I didn't think the performance was bad, but it's a matter of taste. But still things will probably change till may and this song sooo deserves to win! It could be Slovakia's ticket to the final.
