Grounds for disqualification
Greece: Katerine Avgoustakis' song leaked?
One of the rules set by the Greek broadcaster this year is that no part of the songs may be made available before March 5th when the songs will be presented officially during a televised show. All interested parties have been notified in writing. If the song online is indeed a remix of the actual candidate song then it is highly possible that Katerine's song will be disqualified.
The exact same thing happened recently in Cyprus, when the song by Deep Zone was found to have been posted in various sharing sites around the internet and was thus excluded from the Cypriot final. The issue will be discussed tomorrow at ERT headquarters so stay tuned for further updates.

Besides, where did you get the idea that esctoday is a platform to insult other members?
If Melisses are amateurs we saw the "professionals" Vissi and Rouvas how good they resulted in ESC. It s not a matter of how many cds you have released it s a matter of song and performance and that is all that it counts. Melisses are fresh, young and the guy has a great voice. We need no more promos, videoclips of the 80s and divas to get us a good position.
And if you read my comments you could have read that I both love "Kryfa" and this remix of "Enjoy the day". If I would react similar like you at anyone who writes something negative about the Netherlands, then 24 hours in a day would be not enough.

We have to admit that Greece is left with a bunch of amateurs and singers which have yearssssssssss to do a success!

i have to admit that the new remix is much better... I feel the original track must be even better... so I think we are probably losing something good here...

Greece will go to the final with good or bad song like every year.....the point is that the disqualification of Katerine's song is not sth important cause the song is a crap.
I am sure there are much better songs than this one in the Greek NF that can score high....I hope Melisses have the best one...

Each broadcaster can make it's own rules within the rules of EBU.
The release was after the 1 of October 2009 (if you read clearly the rules from Eurovision 2010 it says the 1 of October not the 31 of October as the rumors have spreaded ,the exact day uploaded was the 5 of November 2009, this needs to be considered by the ERT.

I heard it from EPT tv channel some minutes ago....so it is official.
Well ERT wished they didnt take place at all so i wouldnt be shocked if others leave the NF also...!!!!
