Lenna Kuurmaa tops Estonia's showbiz preferences
Allan Roosileht, of Star FM, stated to Postimees that "the level of the songs is higher than previous years", but he would like to see "even more fresh thinking" because, to his opinion, "some songs are still competing in former Eurolaul", he said.
Estonian representative at Eurovision 1999, Evelin Samuel, said that the contest "is and will always be a place for euro and ethnopop" and she does not think that "Europe's taste will change".
The jury also comprised Leo Karpin, former music director at ETV, and Ithaka-Maria Rahula.
After the members of the panel voted, the results look like:
- Lenna Kuurmaa - Rapunzel: 33 pts.
- Iiris Vesik - Astronaut: 31 pts.
- Marten Kuningas & Mahavok - Oota mind veel: 27 pts.
- Violina & Rolf Junior - Maagiline päev: 25 pts.
- Groundhog Day - Teiste seest kõigile: 23 pts.
- Malcolm Lincoln - Siren: 21 pts.
- Mimicry - New: 20 pts.
- 3 Pead - Poolel teel: 20 pts.
- Disko 4000 - Ei usu: 19 pts.
- Tiiu Kiik - The one and only - love: 13 pts.

i like very much the Poolel teel" - 3 PEAD bery interesting and freshing sound but maybe not for Eurovision...also the One and only love by Tiiu Kiik is too good but its sound it isnt the one that you get stucked on ...i believe Violina & Rolf Junior - Maagiline päev it haw a catchy sound and probably it will be the winner for EESTI LAUL 2010 i cant believe that Marten Kuningas & Mahavok - Oota mind veel are favourites their song is too updated in comparison with the others...in Eesti Laul... @sanka No, Vanilla Ninja haven't split up. They still make concerts and appear sometimes together. But they don't plan new albums until 2012.
And yes, it seems Lenna's song is best among the others this year. I will be happy if she wins and takes the other Ninjas with her at ESC 
Go Lenna. I became really addicted to Rapunzel when playing it for 2hrs on Audiosurf last night. It's a really sweet song and I can imagine they could create a good performance for it. Of course, I'm biased to Lenna because she's so damn good.
Yes, VN is taking a break, outside the occasional gigs. They said 2012 most likely to stop fans continually asking. Fans can be so impatient. 
Of the other songs, the Vionlina one is the most immediately appealling. It will be interesting if Estonia stick to the new principle of picking their favourite song for Estonia, not necessarily their favourite song for ESC.
In a recent interview Lenna said something like this - you probobly wont hear much about Vanilla Ninja before 2012. I dont have any idea what it means , but it seems they dont have any plans to make music together.

Sweden will prob get all the praise for best national final but my vote would go to wee Estonia... nearly every one of these songs is pure class. Fave is still your man Rolf and the violin chicks but Astronaut and Rapunzel are both contenders for me too
i think Vanilla Ninja doesent work together anymore. Lenna , Katrin and Piret are all doing somethin else and only Lenna is very active in music business. Very odd to see Piret and katrin working in politics
And I hope Lenna will be back in ESC as part of Vanilla Ninja

Wow, the new version of "Astronaut" is great. It adds even more to the song.
I wonder why Tiiu Kiik is so low in the showbiz preferences. But anyway, overall I agree with their ranking.

Violina & Rolf Junior or Iiris Vesik for Oslo , i hope Coral for Spain, Feminnem for Croatia, Lauris or Aisha for Latvia.
Do you need that Silverlight-crap to play the song in the ERR website? It doesn't work for me, and I don't have intention to install THAT!

I love Iiris!I hope she wins..I find her voice unique and haunting...
Violina and ralf junior are nice too.I hope they won't choose Lenna.I find her song the most predictable and the least interesting of all...
iiris vesik deserves it this time. all the other songs are just horrible.
estonia wont win this year, but the highest placing would be recieved by iiris.
Last years winner was Fairytale. Why not this year songs called Rapunzel or Little Red Riding Hood?
