The esctoday.com poll voters and the voters in the national final agreed. Marcin Mroziński was also the poll winner with remarkable 41.1%. In fact, the poll top four were identical to the results in the national final with Anna Cyzon coming second (25.2%), Iwona Węgrowska finishing third (7.8%) and Aneta Figiel in fourth place (5.8%).
esctoday.com national final awards 2010
The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year - you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can vote for your favourite performance not to qualify in the Polish national final here and for your favourite song not to qualify here.
In 2009, Poland was represented by Lidia Kopania, who finished 12th in the second semi final with her song I don't wanna leave thus not making it to the final.

I can definately see this as a love it or hate it song. I really hope this goes through to the finals. My current winner!!! ^^
fantastic song, bravo Poland !!!
@dimitris
every year there is about 30-40 songs and only one wins. which one? most characteristic. it is impossible everyone likes "the one" song, but it is very often everyone remembers "the one". this time because of smile and looks. why won lordi or ruslana? they also were characteristic. they had something what diferences from crowd, from many other simillar songs.
I think he is a fantastic choice for Poland, he has a good voice and also has alot of charisma about him, so Good Luck Poland
This video was made in like 2 days only since Marcin's wildcard was announced so late.
To think of it, most of the other acts had way more time to practice their performances, making videos and promo and everything than Marcin... I think it's a good job when you think about the time given.
I read somewhere that this video might not be the final one and that even the song might be re-worked for ESC now that it is known it will compete for Poland and that there is time to do these things. I hope that's true!
The songs is good but it needs re-work. For instance the intro presented in the selection is not in the studio version, the verses need more instruments and more mystique (now they are kind of lame and random), I would even change them to Polish.
Anyone know if there will actually be a new version or is it just a rumor?
Anyway good luck Poland!
actually people voted for fairytale because rybak is very charateristic guy- you can't forget him and his smile...
song like song- if someone else would permorm it wouldn't reach the grand prix.
Oh!that's new..i've heard many theories about why Rybak won but not this one..You mean that he won a record victory both with juries and televoters because he has a face and a smile you can rememder?Everyone has the right of his opinion but this argument is unfounded and lame i.m.o...

I really think "Legenda" is a good song. OK, the lyrics are a little bit cheesy but overall I'm sure it will do well in ESC. Once Marcin takes good care of the visual side of his performance and gets more familiar with performing his song on stage it will be very successful
Good luck in Oslo!

@kai
sory for mistake in your nickname and sory for comment in polish.
I 've forgotten there is something like google-translate
@dimitris
don't forget it is demo version with performance prepaired in 2 weeks
Judging by the comments this is a love or hate song.
Ahhh ok, but I don't think Fairytale was a love or hate song. I think it was mostly a song people loved with very few who didn't..at least that's how I remember things.
Mina-x
I was talking about Norway 2009 not Didrik...Others earlier suggested that the reactions "legenda" gets are similar to "fairytale"reactions so they predicted it will win like "fairytale"...lol...I firmly believe and predict that it won't be a big favourite and it won't make it to top-5 or top-10
My Slavic vote certainly won't go to Legenda
The song itself is not a "love or hate it"piece
I think it is. If you look at the polls, Legenda has the 2nd biggest percentage of 12s after Norway...and they both have a high number of 0's, exactly after 12 points. They are the only 2 countries so far where you see something like that.
That to me makes it a love or hate song.
@Sebastian LEGENDA
I assume your last message was to me (just got my name wrong)? If not then I apologise in advance for this message.
In response to what you said, yes this IS a song contest and that is precisely why countries should (if they are singing the song in english) make an effort on the lyrics. It sounds like the song was written in polish and then translated by Babelfish and hes just singing the results of it. Im sure alot of people of whom english isnt their native tongue won't even be bothered by the badly written lyrics and pronunciation. However to (most) british people, im sure im not alone in finding it somewhat annoying when people sing incorrectly in english. Im almost certain that you'd feel the same if someone was singing polish with a strong unattractive accent, lyrics that don't sound right/correct and bad pronunciation. Polish is a beautiful language (I have friends that speak it) so why not sing the whole song using it? Thats basically all im saying. It's a contest so you should be at your very best. Singing in english with a dodgy accent cheapens songs.
Having said all that though. He has a really good voice, looks lovely and the music for the song is well done. I wish him all the best of luck for may and im sure he'll improve by then. I just wish wish wish he would sing in polish!
Also I don't appreciate you telling me to F*** off in polish.
so sadly for you i don't think it will be "warsaw 2011".Maybe next year with a winner entry...
well i guess i am another guy from sinking Greece.lol!Don't writte us off so quickly my friend!We won't go down that easily and if we will,we will take many other EU members with us...lol
Now enough with the hilarious comments..The song itself is not a "love or hate it"piece.It's actually boring and annoying!"Fairytale" was a "love or hate it" entry...Among eurofans at least because the european televoters and juries gave it a landslide victory...
@ sebastian LEGENDA
I agree with you in 100 %
@kelli
It is SONG CONTEST. not oral english-exam.
a tak w ogole to spierdalaj
better than many chosen songs till now, good luck to him , he is really sweet
This song is just toooo much for me lool... I like the start; but its just not me.
With some working this song could be brilliant, however will the European Saturday night tv viewers go for it..... Im not sure. I think if this qualifies to the Final it may get some votes from the juries.
He will definately improve until may. We must remember that he had had only two weeks for preparing. He had to make a video-clip, change the song (because the previous version was bit to short) etc. It is a song with great potential and I really believe that he will be high in Oslo
I understand that some of you might not like this song but the comments aboute vomiting, crap etc. are to PRIMITIVE!
I think you must wait for his performens in Oslo!!!
COOL SONG , GOOD LUCK
(@sebastian LEGENDA) Well alot of the lyrics I couldnt understand and the ones I could understand were very poorly written so I think both my points can be said and are valid.
I mean naff lyrics and strong accents are part of the reasons why I adore eurovision!! Hehe! It's great fun to listen to all the poorly sung, english, campy songs for a laugh. They have a certain charm to them. However if it's a song thats taking itself seriously like this Polish entry here, I just can't listen to it without being put off by the accent and the really bad english lyrics. His voice in polish is pretty impressive. The song would sound a hundred times better though if the whole thing was in polish and would also surely be written better as well. The english lyrics flow terribly and the chorus is ghastly.
As the song is at the moment I just can't get into it. It's too messy. Im not begrudging those though that enjoy it. Im glad they like it
Just not my cup of tea im afraid.
Since I have a pair of ears and a fully working brain I can discuss about anything. I didn't know this was limited to expert, EUROpean ears exclusively. Since I got an account in this website, I have the right to have an oppinion too. Like it or not.
WOW AMAZING SONG ! 12 points from SWEDEN !
