esctoday.com national final awards 2010

The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year - you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can vote for your favourite performance not to qualify in the Macedonian national final here and for your favourite song not to qualify here.

Best song was OSTANI - ALEKSANDAR BELOV ! Great performance, song is a masterpiece...so unique, so it`s a shame that Europe will not hear that song.
Winning song is not bad...but not so interesting..nothing special really. I don`t think that Macedonia will get much points this year from Serbia (where I come from), I `m sure that it would be different if Aleksandar won, cause he is already famous in the region of ex-Yugoslavia....

FYRO Macedonia is going to take points only from Bosnia ( 8 or 10 or 12 ), Serbia ( 8 or 10 or 12 ) and maybe from Albania some points . For sure that song is not going to be the last in semifinal . Is going to take 12 or 13 or 14 place and that beacuse of Albania, Serbia and Albania. But i can understand the reasons :) Languages is almost the same , manoritys between that countries and a kind of "brother" support :) Anyway...Good luck :)

to the greek(turkish word) peuple who has fashistic reactions here:
FYROM SKOPIA HELLAS OR ELLADA only in greece(turkish word)
in rest of the world is only MACEDONIA and GREECE(turkish word)
now about the song:
i am eurofan from 1982 and Macedonia never send good song in YUGOVISION and never win in Yugovision.
and now again Macedonia never send good song in EUROVISION.
i dont know why?

Not too bad (compared to others of course)....but not for final! Oddly, it sounds better if you hear it without watching.....

OMG, what is this????? Words can't express what that song sounds like.... Resembles Montenegro 2008, although that song was million times better!!! Too bad, coz FYR Macedonia used to be one of my favourite countries in the contest...

swear to god where do they find these performers - the dole office?!

alright song - blah eurovision is so far turning out to be quite depressing this year. Not one song grabs me at all - Norway/Cyprus best of awful bunch

okay whoever is complaining for Macedonia getting points from its neighbors... Yes that happens and it's annoying. But also look at it the other way around. For example I don't think many countries from Western Europe will ever give us points even if we send the most awesome song (Kiril Dzajkovski and Bobi Andonov are my only hopes for success so far). Maybe Turks and immigrants from former Yugoslavia that live in Western Europe might vote for us, but for example I can't picture many French people voting for Macedonia.

Well, actually this is a nice song to hear, and taking into account there are no wonders this year (by now) FYR Macedonia could finally pass...

This is not song that gay people would like, and only because of gay fans this song wont go to the final.
I like the song very much.

" yeah they bring the jury back that is why this year is going to be the worst for eurovision all countries send slow songs just because of the jury " OMG :S I have to remind you that last year jurys favory and winner song wasnt balland ( Norway ) :) Also jurys give huge points to Turkey, Azerbaijan and Ukraine songs who wasnt ballands. ;)

We agree on that - I don't support it either, no matter who we talking about. So, if Macedonia is bashed, anyone else who does it so should be criticized as well

Another mediocre rock song from Macedonia - deserves NOT to go to final. Glad juries are back !!

@Marko
ok, I moght be wrong about Malena (yet I think that in less wealthy countries, most of the voters were devoted eurofans, who made an impact to total outcome in their respective countries)
But what about Charlotte - she got 12 from Denmark, and 8 from Iceland (and 7 from Malta (i believe they are really liked Hero, considering chliches they usually send), and 6 from UK) - all other marks were lower
Was that a deserved place in the final? I think no

I agree that's unfair - I don't like neighboring or block votes either. But you know Serbian audience - average viewer will tell - "oh, this is Toše/Karolina, let's vote him/her", "Look this is Tijana's sister" - and the most important of all, their songs WILL be appealing to average Serb (you know yourself that their entries are played on radio here). And only when you add some votes from here or there, they enter the finals. Last 2 years obviously friendly votes weren't enough, and they didn't make it to the final.
