I've heard the song twice - and yes, I do like it!! A good choice from Slovenia.
By the way, Slovenia has had great entries that has not been appreciated in the contest. Stop is still a favourite of mine. Hope Slovenia will at least be in the finals this year.

Well, I like the concept of the song, but song is not good! And I don't recognise this sot of music (narodno-zabavna) as our (Slovene) music, because if you hear our folk songs from Resia and Bela Krajina, where they don't have harmonica as their instrument.... Harmonica came from Austria and Germany... So I'm neither German or Austrian, so I really dislike narodno-zabavna glasba.

Ich bin nicht aus Tyrol (I'm not from Tirol)!!!!

I feel sLOVEnia (L)

I think that our song is really strange and different to you all, but this is really our music (narodnozabavna glasba - have you ever heard of Avseniki - Golica and other groups, i dont think so) and this is the problem, you all expect from us balkan style, but we dont have it, like serbia, albania, macedonia.... and other problem is that you dont understand what are they singing, (naj bo kot pozitiven šok - that this song should be a positive shock ...) - they just want to conect our native music with rock, and from the votes you can see that slovenians really liked this song, because we want to present our real music to europe... :D

It's the first time I've liked a Eurovision song from Slovenia... even from the former Yugoslavia. I really like it.

I don't know, it's... strange. But not really that terrible. Not a winner, though, and I also doubt it will be in the final.

you know where is the problem with songs in Native languages? For example lets take Slovenian song... if i understand the words maybe i like the song, but since i dont speak Slovenian i have to "catch" only the song rythm , if the rythm is no good for me the song is no good . I didnt was Serbias 2008 winner song fan , but i have to admit that Molitva music was understanding and sound good to non serbian language people. Personal i thing that ballands with native languages ( and especially from ex yugo and the rest Slavic countries) have more changes to do whell than pop, rock etc .

It will be very difficult to decide who will be last in Oslo, this is a very serious candidate I can say......hoping that the remaining countries who have to select their entries give ESF 2010 some quality otherwise this edition can be nominated as the one with the lowest quality of them all.... :-(

Keith
Yes it is interesting question! :D
I dunno, maybe escfans vote the most in NFs and they choose "strange" songs lol I dunno! :D
But I love "Yesman" more than all other songs from MGP final and If I were from Norway i will vote for it without any doubt! :D

Sad thing is that Eurovision becomes more and more disconected with popular music

What if it's the other way around? What if the charts become more and more disconnected with popular music, while Eurovision still catches people's attention? The song Yes man was high in the Norwegian charts in the weeks leading up to our national final, yet somehow in the actual final it was beaten by The dragon tower which hadn't been anywhere near the Top 10 as well as My heart is yours which also hadn't been exceptionally high in the charts. In fact, Yes man is STILL the highest charting song from MGP 2010 in the Norwegian charts ahead of Didrik Solli-Tangen and Venke Knutson(!) this week. Does that mean the televote was wrong or that the charts are wrong? It's an interesting question.

Still televoting in Slovenia was really strange, 15 000 votes for this song and 3000 for Nina Puslar and her song is already in Slovenian charts!!
Sad thing is that Eurovision becomes more and more disconected with popular music........ :(

Didn't like it at first, but now... the more I play it, the more I like it, haha. It's a fun song. Maybe not a winner, but I enjoy listening to it. A lot better than the pretentious and boring Polish entry :-)

@ Potato Lion

I think the biggest mistake was to translate "Det Gör Ont". This is my favorite Swedish entry of the whole last decade and the lyrics were already good and they made the song bad with awful English lyrics :(

Timotej, I'm glad someone agrees with me at last! I really wish Sweden would send a song in Swedish! To my native English ears the lyrics are SO banal, and there was a grammatical error in Listen to your Heartbeat, so why didn't they just stick with Lyssna till ditt Hjarta?!

@ Potato Lion

I actually agree with you on this one. It's so boring with all countries sending entries in English, it's ruining this whole contest I think.

This is EUROvision song contest, not ANGOvision! I have bigger respect for countries that sends songs in their native language...

unfortunately if the songs are bad, language doesn't help too much... but atleast it's more genuine.

The best song didn't win, however I am so happy that they insist on all songs being in Slovenian. When representing your country at an international event, surely the language of that country should be promoted, not English, unless you are representing Britain or Ireland?! The Scandinaviian countries have been SO boring since 1999, and only now have the Netherlands seen the light. I support Sieneke every step of the way. Her song is catchy and it takes courage to jump off the English bandwagon!

Hi! I'm from Slovenia and I'm sure that the second song from Nina Pušlar is much better for you all (look it on you tube) and if that song had win, it would go on the finnal. I'm disappointed what the most slovenians voted for.

Well, this is just awful. I am sorry, but this is the cruel truth.

This song is a total chaos. Original, but bad... Good vocalists though!

I was in Dublin last weekend, for the Eurobash party with Niamh Cavanagh.... and the crowd went wild on the Dutch song.... really strange. There were no Dutch people there, only Irish and few English....
