Far Away
Belarus: Three Plus Two to Eurovision
41 applications were submitted to the National State Broadcasting Company of the Republic of Belarus, which is the organizer of the national selection.
The band 'Three Plus Two' is made up of Artyom Mihalenko, Elgiazar Farashyan, Yulia Shisko with backing vocalists Alyona and Ninel Karpovich. The song "Far Away" was written by Leonid Shirin and Yury Vaschuk.

The entry was selected by an internal jury of the Belarusian national broadcaster BTRC. Previously ONT, another TV company in Belarus, held a run of TV shows to select a preliminary entry. However, ONT has yet to obtain membership in the European Broadcasting Union, which kept the company from selecting the Belarusian entry. The band 'Three Plus Two' participated in the contest organised by ONT with Far Away before also submitting the song for the BTRC internal selection.
The geography of authors and performers, who wanted to represent Belarus at "Eurovision 2010" in Oslo, is various: applications were not only from Belarus, but also from Russia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Spain, Ireland and Australia.
The stand-by (reserve) representative was chosen to be Aleks with the song "How Can It Be?"

sounds like dragostea din tei, but with the chorus repeating from beginning to end
omg, I didn't listen this until now! Their live is very good!
In my opinion Belarus will easily pass to the final and might reach a more than decent position.
It's a pretty standard song but until now it's one of the best performances too.
really forgettable song
CRAP! The best song they had in that supposed process of semi/national final was Wasabi - You will better show
Not bad, but not so good... I doubt Belarus did make the final this year. But good luck
but the problem is I don't need toilet so often!!
What about visiting the other rooms?
Belarus send back Kaldun!
p.s.
Oh yea, also I will watch the ears of the guy fro Suisse!! lol
This gonna be the worst ESC in the history.

2. Finland /nice/
3. Albania /ok, can stand/

I'm afraid this song represents practically everything I hate about the ESC since 1999..(language rule etc)..and I will not listen to it again until the semi-final when I will make myself a big (Bela)russian vodka and tonic while they are singing and turn the volume down!...
My top 5 , until now:
1 - Finland
2 - Norway
3 - Iceland
4 - Belarus
5 - Poland
the belarussian song is very repetitive
It's just average and rather forgetable, so until now :
1. Denmark
2. Norway
3. Poland
4. Spain
5. Finland
6. Iceland
7. Armenia
8. Belarus
9.Malta
10. Cyprus

13. Netherlands
14. Switzerland
It's not bad, not good, if they improve their English accent and the performance, could do it very well, maybe the final and top 15, if they sang live, well, let me tell you they have the voices, but improving what I said ! lol, I'd like to see Gunesh some day in an ESC stage.
dig the accents ...... ha ha this is my "toilet break"
How boring and repeatable can it be??? This entry will be forgotten totally for me. I can't stand it! And not only that, because the artists seems to be lost on stage as well. No feeling, no passion....everything is just making me feel ill.
How can people honestly think that this song is well written???
There must be some kind of threat or something. Some kind of corruption....
However, this years ESC will certainly not going to the history as a good year. Where are THE C-O-M-P-O-S-E-R-S?????
I liked Fantastic Girl very much.
But back to 3 + 2. One of the singers reminds me of a male Marija Serifovic.
@ Kenan loves Angelic
Well it's a matter of taste offcourse... I think her songs are pure noise and "Fantastic Girl" is probably the worst out of them lol
@CIRTDAN DIVYIXAN
Be not selfish!
I'm sure Belarus has many good artists to send to Eurovision who can be in a good rank or even can win!
Gunesh should learn on her English accent at first before participate in the belarusian NF again!
@Timoteij in Town dancing Horehronie
I totally agree with u about her English accent!
If she wants to represent Belarus then she should sing in Russian or Azeri! But her songs r good ( I
'ed 'Fantastic Girl'
)!
no good no bad , but with this song i doubt if Belarus have a lot of changes to be in the final. Anyway...Good luck .
@ CIRTDAN DIVYIXAN
Sorry but Gunesh is crap.
She can't sing, her accent is awful and so have her entries in Belarussian selections been aswell.
Gunesh's music are for deaf and tuneless ears... sorry to say.
This song is okay, not great, not very bad. Average but better than most of the songs which made it to Oslo (for example Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia ...).
I heard this song and what can I say? Is this the best Belarus have to offer? Repetitive tune with almost no melody and with a noisy orchestration. For me it goes directly to the bottom of my list. Sorry. Anyway, good luck, Belarus.
When will ESC countries realise that this type of dull and anonymous music performed in a language that it is not their own, won't take them anywhere?
MY TOP 5 :
1. Poland
2. Malta
3. Norway
4. Iceland
5. Denmark
ok, but nothing great. the fact that most of the other songs r real bad, kinda helps this song a bit, but dont count on it as esc likes spinning out bad and unexpected winners. good effort tho
