The show will start at 17:30 CET.
The show begins with a traditional Azeri band with a mixture of songs including a remix of Alexander Rybak's winning 2009 Eurovision Song Contest song Fairytale.
Song 01 - Safura - Drip Drop
Safura is on stage to sing this rock-husky type ballad. Dressed in a black dress she has a powerful voice giving the song quite the rock edge to it.
Song 02 - Safura - Under my skin
Still in the same balck dress she performs this rock 'Kelly Clarkson' style ballad. She is joined on stage by 3 male dancers. It can be clearly seen than Safura has a great stage presence when she is singing.
Song 03 - Safura - Soulless
This song is a rock dance club style ballad. Reminds abit of a cross between Ruslanna and Ani Lorak style songs. However the song does suit her voice.
Song 04 - Milk&Kisses - Under my skin
Milk&kisses burst onto the stage with this rock number. They include an electric guitar in their presentation aswell as four backing dancers. This song seems to work well as a duet! The audience are screaming and dancing. Could this be the one for Azerbaijan?
Song 05 - Milk&Kisses - Drip Drop
Milk&Kisses are alone on stage. The vocals are spot on for this ballad, we feel emotion and a presence on stage from the group. This song has also got great potential to be selected too. They are now joined towards the end of the song by four people holding candles.
Song 06 - Milk&Kisses - Cancelled
Milk&Kisses try abit to hard for this number. The crowd look unsure to this song as the band try to get them to wave their hands in the air. The song is a rock ballad.
Song 07 - Maryam - Under my skin
Maryam is joined on stage by backing dancers, we see fireworks on stage to give this song an edge. The song is performed as a rock/dance number.
Song 08 - Maryam - Soulless
An energetic song and performance. This entry comes across well on screen and could be a possible Azerbaijani entry in Oslo.
Song 09 - Maryam - Drip drop
Maryam's voice seems to work better with up-tempo songs than with ballads as the emotions don't really come across. Still, the dramatic performance suits the song.

Now that I heard all the songs I am so shocked. The songs are average or poor, but they were completely and brutally murdered by those talentless bimbos. Did this MALE jury just choose them based on looks? Because none of them were good singers, especially the horrible winner, Safura.
And how disgusting of them and all of you who do, to drool over a 17 year old girl. She was 17, right? She looks older, probably because of the ton of make-up.
Why on earth did they choose her? Milk & Kisses were slightly better singers and at least had an understandable English pronounciation. Safura can't sing in English, she couldn't sing in any language... Worst singer so far... OMG!

Next year you should send someone who can actually sing.
Under my skin is amazing but none of them performed it with style and great vocals for me.

I don;t get it, they had a big show just to choose a singer ? What happenend to the good old days when you had a one-evening national final to select a packaged singer+song to go to ESC.

I bet they have a "Timbaland" song or something since they are going to announce their entry LAST of all countries - March 19th! Safura sucks so bad. And Timbaland songs are horrible so I really hope it is not one of his reject songs.
I read that the best song was Drip Drop.
Why can't I hear the songs 
So I guess the song is yet to be revealed? Maybe tonight was just another show to select the singer only...? Otherwise they would have revealed the song too, right? So I am guessing they have a "surprise".
Did anyone hear who the songwriters were for the songs performend tonight? I am curious.
