Eesti Laul running order revealed

The Estonian broadcaster ERR has today announced the running order for their 2010 Eurovision national selection Eesti Laul. Several days ago, the names of the guest artists to feature in the show were revealed as well. This year's Estonian final takes place next week, on March 12th, at the Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn.

The running order for Eesti Laul 2010 is as follows:

  1. 3 Pead - Poolel teel
  2. Marten Kuningas & Mahavok - Oota mind veel
  3. Mimicry - New
  4. Tiiu Kiik - The One and Only - Love
  5. Violina feat Rolf Junior - Maagiline päev
  6. Disco 4000 - Ei usu
  7. Iiris Vesik - Astronaut
  8. Lenna Kuurmaa - Rapunzel
  9. Groundhog Day - Teiste seest kõigile
  10. Malcolm Lincoln - Siren

Besides this, ERR recently announced that the guest performers will be folk-metal band Metsatöll and last year's winner Urban Symphony. Metsatöll will perform new songs from their upcoming album, which they will officially release alongside a concert tour in 12 countries. "Eesti Laul is an important event and we are proud to be the guests" Metsatöll's drummer Marko Atso says. "The presentation of our new album is a week later so it will be a wonderful opportunity to see public's first reactions" he adds. To make the the performance even more interesting, Metsatöll are performing with the biggest professional full-time male choir in the world,  RAM.

The author of last year's winning song at Eesti Laul, Sven Lõhmus, said that he is happy to see that once again Urban Symphony will perform for the Estonian audience. Sven also mentioned that this year's finalists should make the music they like and not care too much about the negative comments.

Last year, Estonia managed to take part in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2003 and reached a very good placing, on 6th position. Regarding this year's contest, the country will compete in the first half of the first semifinal, on May 25th.

Go Lenna!

Disko 4000 for second, only because I'm biased. :P

Next is Violina.

All the songs actually have some interesting quality about them. Estonia made a good selection.

The best national final this year. I am glad they have some more ambitious and alternative stuff.

I really have high hopes on Eesti Laul. Whatever they send, I'm sure it'll be the right choice.

My personal favourite is Rolf Junior & Violina though I know it sounds far too 'Eurovision' but I love the fact that it's in Estonian and the song is incredibly catchy.

As for the rest of the entries, I gotta say that 'Astronaut' is quite different and I like it well but I doubt she'll qualify.

Since esctoday opened the ManGa thread, the Estonian one has been dead. As good as the Turkish entry is, fantastic Eesti Laul doesn't deserve to be ignored. Thus ... once again. Good luck to the 10 fantastic Estonian hopefuls! Whatever act they choose, they will be in my top 10!

Good Luck Estonia :D I really loved you entries in 2009 and 2007 the rest were just OK , BUT I hated "LETO SVET" - the worst "funny" act ever on Eurovision :D

@ Eurovision 5

It is really hard to disagree with that... I'm also sick and tired of seeing Turkey in top 5 with weak songs and then even weaker performances thanks to turkish diaspora in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany etc. ... that kills the spirit of this contest.

Tohoshinki, maybe ESCToday hasn't written the article because it doesn't want its servers to crash. :P

Good luck, Eesti, I like a lot of your songs. Big kiss!

Ok I don't know but it seems esctoday is sleeping all togheter today :P

Don't worry Turks!

U can bring a monkey playing a bandjo (ehm, no, that was done by Denmark before) and you will still get votes from your 'dear' neighbours and some other countries with their own Turkish ghettos (such as Belgium, NL and so on)

Hi europe, this is obvious that manga's song is not ex-ex-ex-extra ordinary.
But THE BEST so far.. My votes will be for Turkey. The only good entry from Turkey in ESC road.
MaNga is different, and perfect song for ESC.
Guitarist and vocal are really cool :D I like them :P what're their names, i wanna search :D

@Eurovision 5 - Coral 0
i think you should listen them again.
i dont support manga(i cant coz i dont like :S) but their music style is like rock but i cant see any other similarity.

I was expecting something much more interesting from Turkey.

This new TUrkish song seems to be a mix of Athena with some rap in between.

All my hopes are on Estonia now!
