Azerbaijan: Safura waits to get her Eurovision song
The song that Safura will perform in the Eurovision Song Contest has yet to be decided. During the national final she performed Drip drop, written by Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman, Under my skin, written by Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman and Soulless, written by Anders Lundström. A final decision will be made by a professional jury very shortly on whether to send one of these songs to the Eurovision Song Contest or if Safura will be provided with a new song. Safura was born September 20th 1992 and comes from a family of creative people. Her father is a painter and her mother is a pianist and a fashion designer. Safura has also shown interest in fashion, designing her stage outfits from an early age. Safura started singing at the age of three and had her first stage experience at six. Since then she has tried her luck with different competitions, finally winning the Azerbaijan edition of Pop Idol, Yene ulduz. She has graduated from music school, where she played the violin, even if she always dreamed to play the saxophone! Now Safura will be fully dedicated to work for her participation at the Eurovision Song Contest, and according to her official biography she is ready to share her deep youthful emotions to the millions of people around Europe.
Safura is now reported to go to Ukraine and Sweden to finalise her Eurovision song. Azerbaijani news agency APA reports that a new version of her song and a video will be shot in Ukraine, as well as the staging of her performance of the song. Safura will then fly to Sweden for further preparations, like her stage outfits.
In 2009, Azerbaijan was represented by Aysel & Arash, who finished second in the second semi-final and third in the grand final with their song Always. In 2010, the country will compete in the second semi- final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 27th May.

i'll try it again at home...with love...
sevgiler Orhan, bu arada msn'inde bir sorun var sanırım...profilindeki link'den girilemiyor
P.S. you can find in archiv about your insult to a valuable nobelis t writer
you mean orhan pamuk the man who sold his own country
my job is wanting PEACE AT HOME and PEACE IN THE WORLD, because I am a lying prosecutor...And yes EBU will decide. I hope I'm proven wrong.
I was insulting who?
OK SORRY I'M CORRECTING, ORHAN'S AVATAR WAS ABOUT THE GENOCIDE LIE (which Armenia's song is about)
I lie about what? these are a part of the lyrics aren't they? If you don't think it smells politic, then I can't say anything. Yes Georgia was disqualified just because they said 'I don't wanna put in...' So as you can see anything can be politic.
And I support every single word I've said before. Politics should be out of music and THIS IS TRUE FOR EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY FOR COUNTRIES WHO ARE CHALLENGING. Supporting a person who is being insulted by people (calling him bitch, racist and just because he is against the invasion of his land) is not politics, it is humanism. Cheers friend, and just take it easy. And as the wisest man of his century said PEACE AT HOME PEACE IN THE WORLD
Of course I support him because everybody was insulting him. And I have the same political views with him. But it has nothing to do with ESC. As for the lyrics of the song
Once I waved my home goodbye
I just wanna go back to my roots
Enough?
@Gunec Gulun
"@Firebird the source is the lyrics"
What are you see in the lyric, can you tell me who's word is about politic in the lyric? Leave my english but regard to Orki's primative behaviors. ... Unfortunatly your regard is bias and a fault regard ... this turkish word are from your post to @Orki Apus ... VE ORHAN KARDESIM SANA TAM DESTEK = in english mean = and my brother Orhan, I supported fully to you" I am sure you are laugh now. But why laugh you? my be you laugh about your two face ... right?
Please try to a bit honestly. Unfortunatly that you lie. You try to smear to Armenian song. Sadly.
have a nice day...
Are you try to say that Armenian song included about politic words? Who are say to you that falsification? Or Where from are you hear about that speech? Can you show to me a source of information?
@Firebird the source is the lyrics
And I'm sorry about my words regarding your English, have a nice day...
@Gunesh, also my words are not directly to you but your word are directly to me. Because you ask to me who is my English teacher? I have not a English teacher but can I ask your ethics teachers? For God Sake! Are you try to say that Armenian song included about politic words? Who are say to you that falsification? Or Where from are you hear about that speech? Can you show to me a source of information?
Dear @Günes if you agree with me about that politics should be out of ESC, you should be blame for @Orki's racist exibition on the their avatar. And yes I agree with you about nobody has the right to insult others here.
@ firebird
my words are not directly to you
@Firebird
I totally agree that politics should be out of ESC BUT THIS RULE IS TRUE FOR EVERYONE. Especially a country sending a political song to ESC is totally unacceptable. Plus, nobody has the right to insult others here
Cheers
@Gunes I have no problem with you. Sorry about my English. But look closely please. There are a few users to support them not for a song or ESC. But their only purpose is obviously about racism and hatred. An honest user is not on the exhibition on the avatar Esctoday's about politcal slogans on the bad path. Please remember honestly The Trol lover Sabina told long time about the trolls agressions, but I wonder to @Sabina, where is their troll spray? Why don't use their troll spray, to the great trol @Orki Apus. They try to a cheap political game on this page, right?
I think that all those behaviours are is just a shame!
FIREBIRD WHO IS YOUR ENGLISH TEACHER? VE ORHAN KARDEŞİM SANA TAM DESTEK
@Nane Ad
Because @Sabina The Troll Lover not complain, because she liked the chauvinistic masterpiece that @Orku Apus exibition about racism on their Avatar. Last year even EBU give a punishment to Azerbaijan This third world country is can not entegration with ESC country. They are always agressiv and always wild. And this hater friends even not a shame but they still continue their shame. If you want, you can also compain with a small post to the Esctoday. But I don't complain their . I think that people see their primative attack and disgusting behaviours. Obviously their mentality belong to the their third world. Leave they happy with their cheap game.
And why moderators don't ban Orki Apus?
Are they waiting for Armenians upload similar avatars???
