22:15 CET, Festival da canção 2010
Tonight: National final in Portugal
The show
The show to be broadcast on RTP1, RTP Madeira, RTP Internacional and RTP Africa will start at 22:15 CET (21:15 local time) and it will be hosted by Silvia Alberto at the Campo Paqueno in Lisbon. Twelve acts will present one song each and the winner will be chosen by televoting (50%) and 20 regional juries (50%).

In 2009, Portugal was represented by Flor-de-Lis, who finished eighth in the first semi final and 15th in the final with their song Todas as ruas do amor. In 2010, the country will compete in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 25th May.

Wow another ballad from Ukraine, I think this year will be a record... With so many great Ballads already here this year, I think Portugal should send something up-tempo ( Canta por mim lol)... as much as I love Vanessa and Filipa Azevedos Voices, I don't think the songs are strong enough to compete with the ones already chosen... just my opinion no offence to anyone lol
Catarina for sure, no other will be able to rival with the other 3 great portuguese songs of the previously 3 years

Catarina Pereira to Oslo
Her music is the best in the national final, ok maybe they have to chance some things but defenitlly this song it cause good impression in the Eurovision stage in Oslo. With work i think this song it's the perfect one to represent Portugal this year.
If Catarina wins, she have a lot of harwork to do to make and to sure that the Portuguese performance it will be amazing... with explosions if it's possible.... Good luck everyone in the national contest

portugal has a tendency to send very boring and dull ballads... you might qualify to the final..but se ethe results there.. 14-20 place you will place agian this year if you send a ballad.

this year it seems that you are just about to commit 'suicide', as actually you were so close to do so and last year with 'yes we can'...

There are so many excelente ballads already this year at the ESC... Portugal should send Catarina to sing for Portugal in Oslo...
