The esctoday.com poll voters did not agree with the choice. I love you finished third in the poll with 18.1% of the votes. Poll winning song Adrenalin (42.0%) finished equal last in the national final.

The 2010 esctoday.com National Final Awards will be held between April and May, which means between the national final season and the Eurovision Song Contest. We will repeat the same format with two rounds for nominations which was used this year - you can read how it works here. However, this time the individual polls for each country will always be held right after the national final, when the entries are still fresh. You can vote for your favourite performance not to qualify in the Ukrainian national final here and for your favourite song not to qualify here.
In 2009, Ukraine was represented by Svetlana Loboda, who finished sixth in the second semi final and twelfth in the final with her song Be my Valentine! (Anti-crisis girl). In 2010, the country will compete in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 27th May.

What happened to the Ukraine that i remember in Eurovision??? This song doesn't fit!!! Is just a ballad with nothing to surprise!. What happened with the Ukraine of the great songs and great performances of the last 4 years??
better than Russian song - but Ukraine had better songs in the previous years.
Wow that´s a simple melody and it´s an easy one to remember. Who needs very wordy songs? By miles better than the Russian hear the cats mate crap thing.

Could be a yoga class song
For me Ukraine = show, spectacular performances, glitter, sparks and pyros. We got used to their kick ass performances (Ruslana, Tina Karol, Verka, Ani Lorak, Svetlana Loboda)... When they're trying something else we don't liked. I'm afraid Ukraine won't pass the semi this year. This singer has no charisma at all, although he seems to have a good voice. But this ballad will get stuck in the 2nd semi with all the other ballads (Georgia, Malta, Cyprus, etc).

What have happened to the ESC???? It's getting worse for every year! All these boring ballads is far too much. There are GOOD ballads and there are BAD ballads of course, but howcome that this year is so full of horrible ones??
I think Ukraine got a kick in the backside last year with the juries not really taking to Svetlana... unfortunately, this is now what they feel they have to send to get votes. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Where are the nice songs from Ukraine? How is it possible to choose that song? I don't understand... What happens this year? The average level is horrible !

ukraine usually sends very good songs this is not one of them, i really dont like it, they should send up tempo song as they were doing until now

OH NO! I can't believe I just thoughtthe Romanian entry had the worst lyrics I had ever heard. Then I heard this one. These ARE the most embarrassing lyrics ever. You just want him to leave the stage before you star laughing. He clearly does not speak one word of English. Why doesn't he sing it in Ukrainian then?

everbody is saying my bottom 5 this and that! I dont have a bottom 5 but actually a bottom 10 ! what a horrible eurovision year! i cannot stand it anymore! please GOD do something to break this chain of bad songs in the contest!
Arrr, he looks like a pirate!! Or Manwell from Fawlty Towers. But he's got a real good voice and although his song is a bit unexciting I'm glad Ukraine sent something more sensitive for a change. In the 80s there were many ballads like this and some of them did really well. I LOVE his accent, I might vote for him just because of that!
