Sinead didn't make the finals last year because the song wasn't good enough. Ireland have decided to give the song writers of that failure another chance with Niamh. They are hoping her name around the Eurovision circuit will win us extra votes because the song certainly won't do it by itself.

Best song for Ireland in years, although Sinead was great last year, such a pity she didnt make the final! Niamh is in with a chance in Oslo, I think she'll bring us back into the top 10.

Tom Jones who are you? Why are you so against the song....its just a song, your juvenile messages are a bit pathetic. If you dont like it that much why bother commenting. Also you might want to learn some more grammar - would help you make sense, if thats possible! :)

Very boring but not bad ...... When I first heard It I was like whatever :D

I'm with Garry here. Some people will write anything just to get attention. So just don't pay any attention to them.

@Tom JOnes,

sweetheart are you one of the few "unlucky" immigrants NOT to be accepted by Ireland ???? No use throwing your crap on us... we are just simple music lovers.... So please grow up.

@ Tom Jones
To be honest, I actually don't care what you think. You are just one bored little brat with bad English. Instead of leaving nasty comments, may I recommend you take some language lessons!

And regarding you hating Ireland's entry. I'm ok with that, but don't compare us to the UK when they haven't even chosen their song yet. And if their song is good, I will certainly vote for them.

ESCtoday, will you please delete Tom Jones' account as I'm getting slightly annoyed now.

Sadly, though rightly, there are negative comments a plenty too. This won't be Ireland's year but it will be Niamh's as she has catapulted herelf back into the public eye again courtesty of 'the 'little frock of horrors' so she'll be happy whatever the outcome.

Lina - Norway is actually further away from joining the EU than ever according to all polls. I dont think we are likely to join... at least not in maaaaaany years. And looking at what is happening in Greece (and fearing also Spain, Portugal, Italy etc will also experiencing deep crises in the near future) does not make it any more likely that the norwegians will vote "yes" to the EU.

lol how did you get to talk about financial crisis & Norway's future membership in EU? Iceland is poor now so they want to join in EU. Norway & Switzerland are rich and independent countries, so they would have no benefit from a possible EU membership. Anyway, the Irish entry is not great but it's not bad either. juries will help it definitely but i see viewers voting for it also!

Maybe, maybe not. There is still a slightly majority against a further EU membership here in Norway ;)
