I hope Salem will win. His song is the most atmospheric one and I like it a lot :D

We already have a Manbird from Malta, we don't need a Manboy from Sweden :P.

My personal favourite for tonight is Peter Jöback, since I love this kind of pompous musical ballads. But I have realised that his winning chances are very small, so I will vote tactically, depending on how the juries will give their votes.

Or just send Andreas this year since it's his last participation (supposedly)! I wouldn't hate him either, lol.

I really hope Salem wins or Sweden will suck completely this year too... I really haven't liked a Swedish entry a lot since... 1996 with One More Time. Roger Pontare and The Ark were OK, but nothing special. The problem with Sweden for me is that they've had good songs sometimes in MF, but they never choose them and send some awful schlager instead. I expect the boring Anna song or the Timoteij crap to win. :(

I even wouldn't dislike Darin much if he won and I don't even like him, it would almost be a relief compared to some of the others, LOL! Salem would end up in the good half in the middle somewhere on my list.

Salem FTW!

It was obvious last night that Eric Saade was the favourite in the arena though in my opinion Anna Bergendahl had the best performance. Salem had changed his act for the better I think. He got up and approached the audience at the end of the song.

Alexander Rybak wasn't there of course but Wig Wam and Maria Haukaas Storeng performed.

What else can Sweden do?
In my rating Sweden would ALWAYS have sucess.

2004 - "It Hurts" was my winning track. It was amazing
2005 - Fame was my 3rd
2006 - Carola was my 4th
2007 - The Ark were awesome again within my top 10, but came in a low place
2008 - "Hero" was a great song my 6th (but Europes 18th?)
2009 - "La Voix" amazing song, One of the best from Sweden.. my 5th in a very strong year but Europe overlooked it
2010 - ?

If Sweden chooses Eric Saade "Manboy" sweden will be my No.1. If Sweden choose anything else I think they will be rated lower. But juries, voters EVERYONE in Sweden will look like total tards if they do not choose "MANBOY" ..

"Kom" is good but too unique. I can picture juries overlooking it and what televoter would realy vote for Sweden. The song blends it took me a while to remember the song even now.. PLEASE choose Eric and Europe if you like the song spare a vote for Sweden its unfair how underrated our Neighbouring country has been and think a Eurovision without Sweden.. that would be like not having Eurovision at all

Funny how everyone is sure that only their favourite will be Sweden's only option for success.

Nope, that one I do understand. We're fans. It is not our job to predict what or who will be best for any given country. They've got expert juries for that. Our task is simply to listen to the songs, decide on a favourite, and support it for all it's worth. And that's what we're doing. Anything else would be quite pointless, don't you think so?

Funny how everyone is sure that only their favourite will be Sweden's only option for success. So Sweden, vote for Salem. Every other song will fail or drawn for sure in Oslo.

Sweden would be stupid not to send Eric Saade. This performance will be kept in mind by televoters and grant for a TOP 5 place.
Varsågod och rösta honom! :-)

MANBOY WILL FAIL IN OSLO, I think it'll be a bad choice 4 Sweden, it's cheap & cheesy poplastic , stupid words, bad chorus, a performance that I'm not so sure can remain in Oslo (that was also problem with Malena etc), the song has no character imho, nothing special, plain silly pop...YOU MUST CHOOSE TIMOTEIJ !!!!!!!

Really hoping for Timoteij to run away with it tonight, altho i like Anna - with so many ballads already I think it would be a big mistake. Jessica is great too and another year with less ballads would be an entry to be very proud of. Darin is nice too but again a ballad. The other songs dont grab my attention, other than manboy but for the wrong reasons! :)

I cross all my fingers Timoteij can make it in the end and prove all the haters wrong!

The juries will work against them, the media here has worked against them...

But show then all wrong because it is the best song and it's time Sweden send something good to ESC again!

Screw that crap children song Eric Saade or those crap ballads by Darin, Peter, Andreas...

only Anna is good enough to send also if we send a ballad

but I hope for an uptempo song from Sweden and then ONLY Timoteij is an option! I would feel ashamed by the others

GOO TIMOTEIJ!

Pera [55652]
Sat 13 Mar 2010 14:01:58

Mmmmmmmm....

Timoteij is the best choice Sweden can make tonight! Sweden, and the rest of the juries, please, pick Timoteij! I don't say it only because the girls are pretty. The song is really nice. It's an ethno song with modern, disco ellements! It would represent Sweden very decently!

I don't understand all that fuss about 'Manboy'. That song is kitschy, in my opinion.

Good luck, Sweden! :)

@Richard M: I feel the same way. I'm so sad after last night because after more than 30 entries have been chosen I STILL haven't found one that I'm crazy about and I doubt Bosnia or Serbia will do it. I haven't listened to the Israeli songs yet (maybe I should do that now) and I'm afraid to have too high hopes for France. And that's it! There's no more left now. So I really hope Sweden will choose a kick-ass song which will "save Eurovision", at least for me!

Charlotte Rulzzz [46321]

Sweden should keep in mind that Harel from Israel will compete in 2nd semi, he is gorgeous, talented, is an amazing performer, very confident and has amazing vocals. I think it would be a huge mistake on your part to send Darin, because Harel will probably go with Milim or Lean, astonishing, breath taking power-ballads...

I realize it's my country so I may come across as biased but...Harel is gonna take europe by storm and make you forget many other ballads....
