Munja i grom

Tonight: Song presentation show in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Tonight, Bosnia & Herzegovina will officially present Munja i grom, the song that will represent the country at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Oslo. Munja i grom is written by Edin-Dino Saran, front singer of the popular B&H- rockband Letu stuke. As announced earlier, it will be performed by Vukasin Brajic, who will be aiming to continue Bosnia & Herzegovina's successful Eurovision road. Since 2006, the country's broadcaster has selected their entry internally, never placing worse than 11th in the final.

The show

The show will be broadcast on BHT 1 and on BH Radiju 1 starting at 21:00 CET.

About the show

Vukasin Brajic was born on February 9th, 1984 in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina and rose to fame due to his participation in the first edition of the music talent TV reality show Operacija Trijumf (2008- 2009), where he finished in second place. During the show, Vukasin was the most outstanding participant of the show, gaining lots of popularity because of his excellent vocals and magnificent stage presence.
Tonight, Vukasin Brajic will present both the Bosnian as well as the English version of Munja i grom, the song he will be representing Bosnia & Herzegovina at this year's Eurovison Song Contest with. Moreover, he will also be performing with his special guests, Karolina Goceva, the 2002 and 2007 Macedonian Eurovision Song Contest representative, as well as Ana Bebic, who competed with him in Operacija Trijumf.
The show will start with last year's Bosnian Eurovision representatives Regina, who will once again be performing Bistra voda, the song that got them 9th place in the final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
Among tonight's other guest performers will be five of this year's Eurovision Song Contest representatives, namely Niamh Kavanagh from Ireland, Milan Stankovic from Serbia, Feminnem from Croatia, Gjoko Taneski featuring Damjan Pejcinoski and Billy Zver from FYR Macedonia and Marcin Mroziński from Poland.
Furthermore, last year's Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak together with Frikar Dance company will be performing in the show as well.
Alma & Dejan, the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be tonight's "guests of honour", performing their Eurovision song Ostani kraj mene, for the first time after 1994.
The show will be hosted by the hosts of the youth show "Naked.TV" Ilma, Goran and Nejra.

nobody can save this year;s contest...bosnia?france?,,not a chance for commercial succes for this year's cd,according my opinion, with such songs.Pitty, cause lately countries were sending some better songs than previews years. I wonder why a State's Tv station pay the annual fee to EBU and sends a crap after all and not a respectable song ? galantis . athens

Come on wee Bosnia & Herz!

I'm really hoping for something good from the Bosnians cos they always impress me and almost always send something more enjoyable in my book than their hyped up neighbours Serbia.

Oh, can't wait! C'mon BiH. :)

Paschalis, I don't think he has the energy, but he doesn't want to disappoint his fans. Did you see his Estonian interview? So sad. :(

I am sure you meant Balkan languages, Zanic. Don't worry too much about Niamh, I am sure she is going to be more relaxed now. 'It's for you' greatness relies heavily on her voice indeed. Hers is one of the few 'quality screams' I enjoyed over my ESC years (I am referring to the end of 'In your eyes'. :)
