btw just a note to all of you who have given Ukraine alot of unfair crap lately; Belarus just announced that they will change their entry AGAIN. If this is true, we will have the 2nd change of song since the winning entry in Musical Court.

Natalia Valevska with her " Europe song " should win this easily ;) :)

@ Chad Brown

The deadline is 22th March and they are allowed to change till then... the story is pretty long though but to make it short;

Vasyl was internally selected months ago, some say because of his connection to the former president of the channel.

None in Ukraine was happy with the selection even before any of the songs were presented.

A new president of NTU was appointed and they wanted to have an open selection for all artists and composers to apply if they wanted. So now Ukraine gets an national final with many acts instead and not one that is internally selected and that had no public support from the start.

But Vasyl is still in taking part like everyone else, so potentially he could still be chosen.

Oh nooo please not Vitalij! He looks truly ridiculous and the song is not good either!

NATALIYA VALEVSKA FTW! :) :) :) Europe needs to wake up with all these ballads in May for sure and she will wake us all up haha

Zlata Ognevych is also an ok option I think :)

What is going on in Ukraine? Why did they decide to not stick with the song they had? Is this within the rules? The deadline for entries must be very near surely?

Thanx for the video. I guess I didn't see the winner in Oslo 2010.

From this bunch I think it's obvious it's going to be either Mira, Natalia or Julia. That's the usual stuff from Ukraine. Poor Vasyl, I'd vote for him and his love song. The EBU's official website has reported about the new final, so I guess they're not gonna stop it now. But I don't really see why they bother as none of the new songs here are better than the one they had.

Wow....

This poor guy has no chance in this competition...but, maybe it's better for him, because on ESC he would fall even deeper... he shouldn't have take place here at all... he would be some sort of "moral winner...", and now he is just going to become... looser.

I like few songs very much:

Vitaly, Zlata, Julia.... and this Europa is real trash, hehe... but funny... we miss fun in ESC2010... with all this ballads, I need something in the middle of the contest to wake me up :-)

hehe

Vitaly Kozlovskiy is the best!!!!!!!!! Only he is worthy of presenting Ukraine at the Eurovision!

Poor Vasyl... What utter humiliation for him! Didn't like his entry, but fair's fair... I'm sure many UK fans would love the BBC to do the same and organise a completely new final, but it just isn't done!

Ukraine should be smart and send a good up-tempo song to Oslo, since we have so many ballads this year.
It could be an unexpected (good) turn for them to reach the top of the contest.

Germany's first choice was disqualified in 1999, so their runner up was send to Israel.
Besides, Eurovision rules change every year. I don't know how long the rule exists that national selections have to be made clear before January 31th. So things that happened in the past don't really matter.

as far as it is inbetween deadline, every country can do the selection whatever they like....It's part of the game and inbetween rules. Fair? not for Vasyl, but we had some curious changes in the past: France 2006 last second change of the song, Germany 1999.... sending per coincidence jurney to Jerusalem to Jerusalem. That's the way it is. If we really want to have fairness, we should have all NF the same evening.... I don't think we fans would really appreciate, don't we.
