Cyprus releases official videoclip
The Cypriot preview video depicts the love story of a young couple who meet, fall in love and part from each another. Jon Lilygreen, who hails from Wales, has the honour of representing Cyprus at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with the Islanders. He will be singing Life looks better in spring. Cyprus debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981, and is yet to win the Eurovision Song Contest.

Simple video, not bad, not great. Musicvideos are not important anyway.
I like the song, one of the best this year and definitely one of the better ballads...

how many people you think are going to watch this video? And notice all these details? It doesnt matter at all. If you see 1986 winner video, 1989 winner video, 2002 winner video you ll see how bad are. This was not a problem for these songs to win. Besides at the moment no country is prepared to spend money for videos.

I think the video would have been better if it was filmed at the old Larnaca airport!
On the other hand there are a few things I liked in the video:
1. it was more than obvious that the suitcase was empty
2. they were at the check ins of Aegean and not Cyprus Airways
3. When she passes to the other side she is sitting in the area located at -1 where you board the bus, and just after that she is shown going through the airbridge to the plane...located at level 0...
Don't see this song doing that well this year, it's not a bad song of course, but i think that some people here give it too much credit!

it's true about the video presentation..it reminds me of one of those karaoke videos where they have the same girl in every song in a different location, but the song itself is sweet and hopefully will make the final, and is currently in my top 10 too...

the video doesnt impress me but is a song contest not a video contest so i love the song and have some hope that it may be the winner. Why not? Is a good song and jons magical voice can give cyprus the first ever victory. Anyway theresno any unbeatable song this year. Good luck jon.

haha I got the feeling I was watching some lame karaoke video.
But I do love this song, hopefully the UK will give some high points to Cyprus this year with them having a Welsh boy.

Both the song and the video clip are cheap, so I think they go very well with each other.

Yeah, your absolutely right! Helena won with her great song and performance IMO, not with her being known, etc.!
Yes she was known to eurofans and Sweden i guess but that wasn't the key-factor of her victory i.m.o..An what about Kalomira?She came out of nowhere...Or Alexander Rybak???He won both Patricia Kaas and A.L.W last year...

I love the song very much. Is one of the songs i hope will win. Also the others songs i love are romania, spain, france, ireland and armenia. I can stand safura and sweden this year.
This is a song contest not an artists contest for example hul.iglesias, olivia newton john, clif richard and nana mouscouri (more than 200 mil. worldwide) DIDNT WIN. Also the only eurovision songs that reached number 1 in the USA volare and amour est blue also DIDNT WIN.

Oh, I have forgot to mention, Helena Paparizou participate also in 2001 with the name Antique, maybe she became popular in some countries then? Coz her song was liked from the European public and it became a hit here in Turkey and many other European countries!
