@ Sara smiles to the world.
I think you're right Sara, I also think too much exposure too soon may not always be a good thing. Two months is a long time in a world of disposable pop music. What someone loves now, may drive them up the walls by the end of May.

I wonder if these promo tours really help that much. It's only the die-hard ESC fans who goes to these concerts (not the regular viewers/voters). Norway has never gone on a promo tour and still got 5th and 1st the two last years :).

AS an example: Soroya went to almost every European country on her promo tour last year and look how far that got her..she probably became tired out before the final night...

Jason, you can book your tickets by sending an email to ogaenl@live.nl
The system of the official ticketdealer doesn't support bookings from abroad.
See you on April 24:-)

Funny to see the Austrian and Czech flags among those shown at this event's logo.
Not only these two countries won't be at the Dutch mini-concert: both of them won't be at ESC 2010 itself and none of them is going to even broadcast it.
The lack of interest is high in Austria and Czech Republic now (fortunately, Hungary will broadcast ESC despite not participating, so we could think that the financial problems were REALLY the main cause for MTVs withdrawal).

It seems to me that there will be a mini ESC there in this event
:-)

@ Euro Glasgow
I almost have the same list as yours with slight differences: I'd love to see Albania within top 10, and Latvia too. I can simply drop two of the extremely slow and romantic songs from your list (I don't wanna write names in order not to start a new discussion)

@ Cameria Arvaniti
Yes, Albania keeps growing in me day by day too :-)

@ Gee Oh!
I'd love to see more rock and pop in the contest but this year there is a domination of boring songs.

"Where are the real contestants?"

There were 39 of them last time I checked. Each and everyone is a real contestant.

I would like to be there next April 24th, but I can't. Good luck!

After much thought I hope the results from Oslo will be

Qualifying from the 1st semi final in order
Iceland, Moldova, Albania, Belgium, Greece, Slovakia, Malta, Latvia, Belarus and Finland.

Qualifying from the 2nd semi final in order
Turkey, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cyprus, Ireland, Sweden, Israel, Bulgaria and Croatia.

Switzerland and Georgia very unlucky to be in this semi.

And the final result
Bulgaria 1 pt
Israel 2 pt
Sweden 3pt
Ireland 4pt
Cyprus 5 pt
Armenia 6 pt
Azerbaijan 7pt
Denmark 8pt
Germany 10pt
Turkey 12pt

The organisers could save themselves a fortune by cancelling the first semi final!!!!!
Only joking!!!!!

Awful list! Who would ever want to see a concert of ballads...Portugal, Cyprus...Belgium... And...Slovenia, Switzerland and Netherlands performing? P-Lease! Who would want to see that? Looks like it's promoting the weakest entries in this year's contest... Where are the real contestants? Azerbaijan, Romania, Armenia, Denmark, Iceland, Moldova, and so on?...

TROJAN LADY [60497]

I WISH I COULD BE THERE :(
