10th anniversary in Oslo
Bobbysocks and Euroband headline esctoday.com party
Bobbysocks will perform live at the esctoday.com 10th Anniverary Party at Club Latter in Oslo on Friday 28th May. Norway's first Eurovision Song Contest winners will make a special performance at the event, marking the 25th anniversary of their victory with by taking the stage at the esctoday.com 10th anniversary party.
The duo, Hanna Krogh and Elisabeth Andreasson have been back in the recording studio and will be releasing a greatest hits album entited Let it swing - The best of Bobbysocks which will include two new tracks in May.
Alongside Bobbysocks, who also appeared as part of the interval act at the Melodifestivalen final in Sweden this year, Euroband will be performing some of their favourite Eurovision Song Contest songs as well as their 2008 entry This is my life.
Fridrik Omar from Euroband told esctoday.com that "They're huge in Iceland, everyone knows them here in Iceland and we can't wait to perform on stage with them. They are two classy ladies and I love them. I can't wait to see them as a fan".
Tickets for the event will be available on the door on the night, priced at 50 NRK for accredited Eurovision Song Contest fans and media and 100 NRK for regular party-goers. There will be no tickets sold online, it is strictly first come, first served on the door.
All accredited media, fans and the public of Oslo are invited to join the esctoday.com team for a fantastic party and a real celebration of the Eurovision Song Contest. We look forward to meeting you there.

Are they going to mud-wrestle over the right to sing La Det Swinge for the 254th time? If so my money is all on Regina.

Oops. Make that 'best-ever presenter in Lill Lindfors'!
La det Swinge is one of the all-time best winners and the 85 contest was a triumph for SVT with the best-ever present in Lill Lindfors. Her 'dress malfunction' stunt was classic, even more so because it raised more than a few eyebrows with the pompous EBU at the time.
What on earth was wrong with my post? Why did you delete it? I said a few nice things about Engla and then I said that I hoped to see Sara at in Oslo! That sort of random deleting is making me not wanting to go to your party, mr Viniker!

I might be in Oslo in May as it turns out, so I may in fact attend this party! I'd love to see Bobbysocks live on stage, I remember them from 1985 and I still have the 7'' single. I'm sure more names are going to be announced throughout. Well done ESCtoday, and happy anniversary!

Bobbysocks- One of the best winners ever! Now that is what eurovision is truly about- fun, bouncy, camp- I feel eurovision nowadays has lost all that sparkle and people are taking it far too seriously. The best 2010 entry is Denmark, Netherlands and UK
