Greece: Giorgos Alkaios and Friends in Istanbul
During the interview Giorgos shares with esctoday.com readers the changes made to the musical arrangements to Opa, the song he will sing at this year's Eurovision. He mentions changes to the stage presentation including new costumes for his group. There will be some changes to the dance routine to give a stronger visual impression in Oslo. He also talks about his feelings after winning the Greek final and how he enjoyed modest celebrations with his friends following their victory.

INTERESTING!!! This pleasant video manages to tick ALL the right boxes.
I enjoy its thoughtful visual Artistic Contrasts ...
which go so well with the song's Lyrics and Music!
As you can see, it starts with everything shown mostly in dark black,
then it bursts into bright WHITE and true BLUE (sea and sky)!!!!

Do I have HIGH expectations, this year?
Well, I will certainly be happy with a Top 10 
placing,
because, judging from the OGAE votes,
it is not exactly the most favourite song .
My Mother says that her Mother ( my 96-year old Grandmother )
cannot explain why they are hooked to its sound.
Could it be that it is CATCHY?
This is what will happen:
After both performances, the roaring applause for Giorgos Alkaios and Friends
will be so LOUD, it will ...blow the roof off of the Oslo venue.

And, YES, it will be even louder than for Sakis Rouvas , in 2009,
despite the fact that Sakis was such a big favourite to win then!!!
People .... this song is MUSICAL THERAPY ...and it knocks you off your feet !!!!!
When a song stands out ... it is outstanding.
(and this song may truly deliver ... ONE way or another)

Giorgos seems to be a very nice person. I absolutly do not like the song, the performance and that "style", but he is so kind and friendly, hen you watch him doing interviews.

Do you mean that the norwegian jury f.i consists of greek or turkish members?Why can't you accept the fact that this kind of music may be attractive to certain people(not me included for sure)...Balkan countries may vote for it just because they listen to this kind of music...
Giorgos is such a gentleman I think many people like him by the looks of things!
I think this entry may actually win or do very well.

I believe that Greece will be high enough in the juries as well to do an easy Top 3 at least in the scoreboard. It's not my cup of tea(it's around the 25th place in my personal ranking) , but no matter what I think Greece will score well once again this year.
I really wish to be in top10 this year.

but if greece comes like 2nd in televote and 16th on jury vote it won't have any better luck...and maybe that will not show that much in the semi but in the final differences like 8th in televote and 20th to jurie vote ends somwhere in the middle and that's an optimistic schedule..

Well , if Belgium is even first in the juries , but like 8th in the televoting( ) Then i don't think it's enough to bring Belgium that high in the scoreboard :/
