Rehearsal day eight
Croatia, Georgia, Turkey rehearse again
Song four – Croatia
The three beauties from Croatia have done their second rehearsal of their love song. It is a very effective and stylish performance with great vocals. The girls are all about a feminine appearance in their peach frocks and love hearts on stage, maybe trying to repeat neighbouring Serbia’s joining of hearts at the end as a lucky charm for a victory?
Song five – Georgia
On the day after the Georgian Independence party the Caucasus team takes to their second rehearsal. It is all in the colours of the flag with St George’s cross of the flag, red and white. There is a dance performance all the way through the song, but Sofie’s powerful vocals do not seem to be distracted by the movements. Will we see all the three countries from this region once again battling it out in the final?
Song six – Turkey
The last song in the semi-finals comes from Turkey. The team has now fine-tuned the performance from the first rehearsal. Some of the excess darkness of the stage is now gone, but the strong strobe effects are still there as well as the black and white theme. We also see the full outfits of the female dancer, who starts off as a robot and actually puts a power tool on her arm. A very strong musical and vocal performance that should be end up on scoring high on both Thursday and Saturday.

Shevek,
No fear for the diversity in the ESC, as soon as Nelly sings portugese it's okay for you right? She can bring victory to Portugal, because she is known worldwide, but most of all, she has lots of fans Europe-wide. I love her
very poor quality compared to other years, this years songs.' we could be the same ' among the best songs this year.very different song.amazing choreography and live performances.abviously ı was very impressed.this year, definitely my favourite manga.
Congratulations to Turkey (:
I will vote for you as much as (:
12 points from Belgium.
good Luck (:
Croatia, very good .
Georgia,- not crazy about it .
Turkey , I don't like it .
Rita,
thanks for the link.
She could represent Portugal, but I prefer to see my country represented by a person who has been raised in Portugal, exposed to the different trends that coexist in our culture. Otherwise, I fear for the survival of diversity in ESC.
@Shevek
Nelly Furtado can hardly speak Portuguese, but I suppose that she could. I am not too keen on that, though.
Shevek it's a song contest. She doesn't need to speak. But I'm sure she does speak portugese.
By the way, here is an extract from her interview:
She said: "I've always sung in, well, three languages for the past five years. I've been singing in Portuguese and English since I was 2 years old, so I really love being a universal artist.
"I love being a world artist, so it's just my next step really. The Spanish project is just my next step to get to [being] 80 years old onstage, singing something. This is my next step in the puzzle."

GO CROATIAAA....
ouch! i'm catching up with the rehearsal... Sopho, Sofia
what've they done to u
so much stretching, so much useless dancing
but the red dress looks great.. and that's the consolation prize
croatian girls: beautiful, gorgeous, fantastic!!! they could win the whole thing!!
turkish song is 1 of the best... damn!! those lights gave me a headache!
Sopho's song is a ballad, not disco music - she presents too dynamic show
She was one of my favourites before I saw her rehearsal. Now I don't care what will happen with the song.
Croatia - it's OK, Femminem shouldn't have any problems to be in the final, but I don't think they will the winners of Eurovision.
Turkey - I really liked this song and band before I heard vocal... But chances for lose the semi final are really little.
Croatia deserves to win! NOT Germany, Azerbaijan or Israel!
Croatia are so beautifull. Turkey is so great
But Georgia is so poor...
