Germany predicted to win 2010 Eurovision
esctoday.com readers have predicted that Germany will win the Eurovision Song Contest tonight, with a tiny margin over Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia and Israel.
The top ten according to the bigpoll are:

9. Greece
10. Romania
The BigPoll has correctly predicted the Eurovision Song Contest winner five times in the last seven years. Last year, it also correctly predicted 19/20 semi final qualifiers.
With the race being so close this year, the esctoday.com team are a little nervous about the prediction with Spain, Russia, Ukraine, and Serbia threatening to trouble the higher places. The full table will be revealed after the result tonight.

would have placed No. 3,
IF “OPA” was voted only by 25 qualifying countries in Final.

Anyway, this may NOT be a "rule", BUT it is my guess 
that certain
ESC - SF1/SF2 ... non-qualifiers ... subconsciously(?!) … seem
to vote ... against the 20 stronger songs that got through to the Final.
( By the way, Slovakia 
and Malta deserved to be in Final
and so did Finland . Bulgaria , The Netherlands and Poland , too,
because the SONGS and ARTISTS representing these non-qualifying countries ENTERTAINED US, as did the rest ... ... THANK YOU !!!!! )

In the Final, GREECE got 140 points and 4 (count them 4), among other points, the TOP points from:
ALBANIA ... 12 points
CYPRUS ... 12 points
BELGIUM ... 12 points
GERMANY ... 8 points (and Lena WON !!!)
ROMANIA ... 8 points (and Paula and Ovi placed 3rd !!!)
and Greece got from 12 points from the UNITED KINGDOM !!!! (and Josh came LAST!!!!!!!!)
Turkey gave Greece ... 3 points (placed No. 2,
even though TURKEY CHEATED by using ... the TWO KEY words .......... eyes ............ surprise
from the LYRICS of GREECE's ... ESC 2009 "This is our night"

ESC is a fest more than a competition...
ESC is an oportunity to bring people together, to bring countries together...
Unfortunately, you have no idea about this feelings...
Insead to add new countries, you are talking to ban some countries from this contest. Who are you? How can you propose such an impudent idea? From what, you take to think you have right to suggest it?
Althougt Cyprus does not vote for Turkey; Cyprus has to be in competion. They may vote for Greece, allways. No one have to right to ban these two contries as no one has to right to ban Scandinave countries to ban or to ban old URSS countries or to ban old Yougoslave Republics, or Spain and Andorra, or others...
Your reaction shows how much you are democrat. Before the contest, you may think you will press Turkey not to vote for Azerbaidjan. This is a fascist reaction. This may be a reaction of someone who thinks everythings are belong to him, who is suach aspoiled child...

Please don't equate my country with the behaviour of voting cheaters. The UK has given 12 to Ireland on 6 occasions since 1975, the last time was in 2003 and before that in 1997. In the same period we have given Ireland 0 points on 7 occasions, the last time being in 2007.
Ireland has given the UK 12 points on one occasion only, in 1997. They have given us 0 points on 4 occasions, the last time was in 2003.
The Scandinavian countries do not give 12 to each other every year either, or anything like it.
At every opportunity Turkey and Azerbaijan have given each other 12 points, televoting and jury. So don't try and tar others with your dirty brush!

Will Greece and Cyprus be banned too? Because Azerbaijan has been in the contest only for a few years but Cyprus and Greece have been exchanging points since 1980s..
Just - please not Azerbaijan! They don't deserve to win after all the insane promoting this talentless little child. The song is too mediocre to win and they have only participated three times? So yeah, they shouldn't win yet and not with a weak song like this.

azerbaijan have nice song and what if they advertise themself they dont say vote for us or we will kill you, it is more like they keep you inform, and a lot of people put money on that song, so that mean they like it, and about the voting azeri - turkey, please tell me isnt the same thing with cyprus - greece, germany - turkey, etc. my parents always say this country is going to give 12 points to that one and they are almost always right, so it is not just azeri - turkey, they all do it
