May I congratulate Turkey with a great entry this year!
Great powerful stuff!!
On the background of endless boring ballads Turkey was fresh!!!

*GULUN

@GUNEC GUULN

That date would be better IMO, because our representant won't have a few weeks to prepare a song, otherwise the song won't be as good as expected ( the same happened with Hadise, Kenan, maNga and MVÖ )! Hande Yener would be the better choice for that, because she began already to work with Sinan Akçıl for an album and if she will be chosen from TRT as our representant then she'll represent us with a song from her album! ;)

Kenan waoow 1st of August is a little bit too early isn't it...The artist will loose his/her popularity until the date of the contest...

@GUNEC GULUN

Actually, Burcu would be also a good choice! :) Murat will represent us with a catchy pop song with ethnic rhytm in it ( which I really like ) when he'll go most probably, but Burcu will sing a beautiful ballad for sure + she has a strong voice! (L) :) ;) Let's see, I have heard somewhere that TRT will choose our representant on 1st August, and the candidates TRT plans to send are Hande Yener, Burcu Güneş or Atiye Deniz! I'm already excited! :D :P

You are right about your opinion about rock, maybe we should change the genre next year. Then Murat Boz or Hande Yener next year :) Even maybe Burcu Güneş ;)

@GUNEC GULUN

No no, don't worry, I'm not angry! :O I just don't want Badem for Eurovision, I hate them! :S (S) :P After maNga, we need a change from rock now for a while, right? :P

Murat Boz next year for Turkey! (H)

Guys I have an opinion, what about sending Badem with a sensational songs with lyrics of Karacaoğlan translated into English? ;)

@gunec, i like him too but he is not the type for esc, his style is listen and relax but in esc we need singers who can make the crowd and fans excited

Guys what do you think about Yalın, I like his music...

@gunec, since tarkan isnt interested, i think it is time for murat boz to go esc, with a song of soner kabadayı he will rock the stage also will be the cutest esc singer ever :P

@neno belan maybe you know from before that Cyprus and Greece are going to exchange each other 12 points but also i know that all ex yugo countries are going to exchange together 12 - 10 - 8 - 7 - 6 points ;) Also dear friend Cyprus and Greece never pass to the final or take good place in the final beacuse of that 12 points, but ex yugo making to the final and there take good place beacuse theyr exhange high points, and dont forget ex yugo are six countries and they can easy influense the results ;) If you want a proof just take a look this year 1 semifinal scoar board and see how Bosnia with very bad song make it to the final ;)

Correction: How Gülseren was chosen!

many times bad songs also a corrupted jury was voting for the best (last example 2005 lolol)

LOL exactly! And we all know very well why Gülseren was chosen from the juries! :S

I completely agree surrounded. If we want to be successfull (at least not to be humiliated) we should send proffessional young artists that will have the support of the Turkish people. Support of the people is very important for the artist for motivation and our people don't tend to support amateurs anyway...

@angelic the system that trt was using before 2003 was a disaster :S generally it was a national final with unprofessional singers and many times bad songs also a corrupted jury was voting for the best (last example 2005 lolol)maybe ppl think esc is a big thing here coz we mainly send good songs with good stage shows lol, otherwise almost %70 of other esc countries care esc more than we do and ratings proove them very well, dont care what those fake users say they just make themselves to look funny and us to lmao @their jealous nonsense comments

@Surrounded

Yes that is strange. I wonder why the ratings are so low? guess some people on this site are wrong about Eurovision being a big thing in Turkey :P we keep hearing people saying countries like Turkey see the ESC as something major or very important and bla bla.....

It might not come to that but even if they do scrap the internal selection process and replace it with a NF then I am sure that would produce a good outcome too. I mean this year both TRT and the public had a hand in selecting an act to represent Turkey and it turned out extreamly well :D Manga came 2nd!!! :)

@angelic, yes trt starts to do sth good since 2003 for sure but i still cant get despite these good results why still turkish people dont watch esc and ratings r very! low (this year even we came second just 2,5 million watched it!!!) if it goes like that i think trt will stop the internal selection system :S

i agree burcu has an amazing voice but as we all saw it is not a voice contest :S if u have a good song and show , u always do well but many times singers with amazing voices sucked in results, for example sibels and mvös voices were better than hadise on esc nite but one of them came 11th other 7th and hadise 4th coz ppl including me didnt like these songs or shows as muchas dum tek tek . but sertab, athena, kenan and manga had both good voices and songs & shows so they got what they deserved though i think athena at least deserved a top 3 still wasnt an unfair result

There is so much talent in Turkey seriously. There is so many acts to choose from but I think Nez might be a good choice or Hande Yener :D (L)

Turkey will always try their best there is no doubt about that! ;) These last few years expressed how much hard work and effort has been put forward by TRT.

Best of Luck for next year Turkiyem :) (L) (L) (L) (L)

@Lina !!!
Yugoslavian countries are chaters ? This Greece-Cyprus thing that has been going on for almost 30 years now is one of the most ridicillous things on ESC . No wonder everytime Cyprus or Greece announce their 12 pts audience laughs .
After all in the last few years in Ex YU people don't even care about esc and how many of those states were in the final this year ? Two and last year the same . Eurovison is very important for Turkey and Greece and EX USSR but that doesn't mean it is as important in other countries .
Please watch your own frontyard before you judge others and call them chaeters .
