New video clip by Giorgos Alkaios
Giorgos Alkaios has already released 15 studio albums, some of which were certified gold or platinum in Greece. He also wrote and produced songs for other artists, most notably the song Opa opa for Notis Sfaniakis. Not being a major hit in its orginal version, Antique coverd it in 1999 and scored a number one hit.
In the Eurovision Song Contets 2010, he finished second in the first semi final and eighth in the final with the song Opa, composed by himself.

Although Alkeos is not my favorite singer,i kind of like this heart felt oriental ballad! 
The video is nice too!
I promise to translate the song later or tomorrow for those of you who are interested in the lyrics. 
This is nice however I think the song "Opa" was the right choice for Greece this year as it sounded more like a greek song than this song.

ESCTODAY, please correct the article. "Opa Opa" by Notis Sfakianakis was actually a BIG hit in Greece at the time. Perhaps you mean that Antique covered it and scored a European number 1. (As well as a Greek number 1 again, by giving the song a new life) Also Despina Vandi covered "Opa Opa" in 2004 as well, (but in a completely different version, in English) and scored a hit in the US on the Billboard Dance Charts.
Also his own songs have been featured on a few international dance compilations in the past.

I think it's beautiful in one way, but though slow and uninteresting in one way. I've some of his other singles from the recent years and I think A LOT of them is better than this one. Anyway, Giorgios is an amazing artist and he was my favourite in ESC this year I wish him a lot of good luck further in his carrier. OPA!

He should have participated with this masterpiece in Eurovision this year instead of 'OPA'!
