BBC: We hope he says YES!
United Kingdom: Mika to write Eurovision 2011 entry?
According to The Sun newspaper, the singer may pen a song for next May's competition.
A BBC source reportedly said: "It's always a difficult call trying to get a decent song together for Eurovision, as this year proved.
"We had Pete Waterman overseeing it this year but we still came last.
"Mika has all the right ingredients to make a successful song. We hope he says yes."
The United Kingdom finished last in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.

This is my opinion- You are right up until 2010- the Uk gave up thinking they could never win, therefore did not bother to try hard to enter a good song. However, with germany winning, they now believe there is a chance, so are pulling out all the stops for 2011 in the hope they win
I personnaly don't think BBC wants to bring victory to UK, not yet, UK won 5 times and 2nd say about 15 times, and if they want they can do it again, surely they won't spend so much money every year to find descent/special song and right voice, I think they are just participating to give fresh voices opportunity to promote themselves, thats why usually UK is out of top 10 or 15 most of the time since their victory in 1997, I believe if BBC wants to win to host the show in UK they can manage, they don't have to win as yet even though 1997 was years ago, but take a look at Germany they only won their 2nd victory after sooooo many years, so other countries should try harder, e.g. Malta, Iceland, Cyprus, and Portugal been in the game for looooong time and never won, while Turkey, Greece and Finland managed their 1st victory, UK is holding its success of 5 times winner and many times top 3

I attacked you because of Safura?? are you being serious?? My favourite was Harel-Milim, if anything I would have been defensive about him! but I wasn't defensive about any of the participants! I only retaliated towards your comments which had nothing to do with the ESC.

First of all I didn't bring lord above to the eurovision, that is your weird sense of humour.
I was refering to my attacker Angelic's behaviour who is rather making sin, and I said I hope lord above is watching, so stop making fun of it, because its not funny, her constant attack on some esctoday members is sign of serious issue with her personal life, if you still wanna make joke with that thats is totally up to you.

The Lord above has nothing to do with Eurovision. If you think he does just ask Aisha because Mr.God did not help her at all. Her 17th place in the Semi was what Mr.God got her for all her pointless questions
before esc i voiced my opinion that I didn't like Safura song and that she can't sing and angelic loves whatever attack me first then used her other accounts to attack me as well as attacking other members and still comiing around to create mess, hope lord above is watching

I don't hold a grudge against you. I just don't understand what drives you to make the comments you make sometimes. I know how you are. However, i would LOVE to see Mika doing it for the UK.
Mika is awesome and should just represent the UK since the country he wants to represent will not get over their Pride and broadcast the entry from Israel..
His songwriting is okay.. but only he singing his songs can make them good. For example his track for Boyzone was okay when they sung it, but when he sung it on his tour it was much much better. Mika's song with another singer depending on quality could make the top 10.. but would never win unless he sung it
