Lena releases new single and video
The song was composed, written and produced by Stefan Raab. It is Lena's fourth single following her three national final entries Satellite, Bee and Love me, whicha ll reached the top four of the German single charts. Satellite was on top of the charts for six weeks and it was certified double platinum for sales exceeding 600,000 singles and downloads on homeground only. It was also a number one hit in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Georgia.
Lena Meyer-Landrut has also announced that she will represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest again in 2011.

After 30 seconds I was bored, after 1 minute I fell asleep. Rubbish song.

There is no fuckin' native English speaker on this planet who can speak German accent free. Why do you expect it to work vice versa? At the age of 19? After learning French as additional language first? Without having lived abroad?

wonder why she would not try to capture the UK charts with "Love Me". For me this song would be the obvious choice for a follow up single everywehere, where the Satellite Single was not available.... The song has some "Shout To The Top" vibes in it and should be more suitable for a single release.

What can we say..lena is cute as always and her song is lena style !
Either love it or hate it much like satellite..but that's lena anyway..she is causing some strong (and mainly opposite..!) feelings..
But please stop hating her so much...she came first by a landslide which came from televote (for those who still believe in its credibility..not many I guess !) and she won also the jurie vote after a battle with tom dice (for those who find juries more reliable..!)...she is ultimately recognised as the winner..opinion and hatred are 2 different things..

Prefer this song to what she sang in Oslo...
It sounds like almost any "radiosafe" music today. It has nothing to do with writing a good song. It's just boring and will be forgotten sooner than it was created. Everything to be aired on the radio....

"Not following" has been written by Ellie Goulding/Jonny Lattimer, not Lena/Raab. A single release is rather unlikely.
@City Flyer: Both "Mr. Curiosity" and "My Same" are covered songs.
The song "My Cassette Player" is crap imho, and "You can't stop me" wouldn't make a good single either. But that's just my opinion.
But I do agree that "Not Following" would have been the best choice.

Btw, Satellite was NOT a #1 hit in Georgia since there are no singles chart there. Instead it was #1 in Germany and the Greek Digital chart.

John Harrison...ok so they wasted "Bee" by putting it on the "Satellite" single...but there are other songs much better than "Touch a new day" such as "You can't stop me", "Mr curiousity", "My cassette player", "Not following" and "My same" .....any more snide remarks???

She made a statement and from the looks of it , she is doing pretty well

I like her new song she has such a quirky style. Her music also reminds me of Katie Melua's music style.
