CyBC dont care for Cyprus place in ESC , they just want to take money throurg televoting from that almost uknown in Cyprus talent show . Of course if the composer is good and the boy or girl who win that talent show have good voise everything is possible . I have to remind you that some ESC winners or singers who take good place take part to talent show. I dont expect Cyprus to win ESC 2011 even and if send the best of the best song, that is very very dificult beacuse Cyprus very rare take 5 points and up from televoting ( and that has nothing to do with the song ) but utlist lets hope that the song and the singer will be good and Cyprus will be in the final ( and take one of the last places again...LOL ). :)

Thanks for the link Nik. She's not so bad at all.

It could be good because I liked "Rijeka bez imena". :)

My favourite Cypriot entries are Teriazoume and Sti fotia.
I also liked Life looks better in spring but I hope, that the next entry from Cyprus will be in Greek. Good luck !

Thanks Nik Ioann! :D

Laila, what do you think about fact that A. Milutinovic will be composer for 3 singers here? She was composer of "Rijeka bez imena"!

@Marko
I also prefer NF's, but internal selections can be good if they choose someone good from a different genre like Turkey did with maNga! :D I can't wait for NF-season to start! OK, that song by Stella was lovely, but I haven't heard her live and it all depends whether or not she will win, lol. If they sent a song like that sung in Greek it would be good. :)

Laila
And how you think you and me will have a lot of fun during preselection season without endless Slovakian and Moldovan NFs which are full of Romanian folk music and Slovakian rock you love!?! A?? :D Please Lailaaaa.......... Internal selection in any case is shite! :D :D

Tohoshinki
Don't listen to them, you know that your MGP is one of the best, it' interesting and exciting and last almost one month!! ;) :D
I wish Beovizija to return (at least it is 2 days and there are many different singers and composers), but that won't happen, next year again will be the same here like this year, probably Aleksandra Milutinovic will be composer for 3 different singers, she was composer for 2007 B&H entry Marija Sestic - "Rijeka bez imena"!!

Laila
Search on the first page what Nik Ioann posted , that singer is good and that song he posted is quite nice! She already have few song with Greek elements you like! Maybe she will be the best option for Cyprus!

I'm not obsessed with MF, I just write what the best method and the most interesting one for me is!
I would like to see the best as possible for my Cyprus! (L) I go to Cyprus soon!

And I agree with Axel Kearns. I like internal selections only if they ask a singer or band who have their own material. It's more authentic and real and then we could get quality. To just say "whoever wins this lame talent show can represent us" in advance is a terrible idea, especially when ALL the contestants suck.

Wed 21 Jul 2010 22:07:12

OMG! Terrible, terrible. They are all terrible! :S I know what matters is the song, but what good will that be when the singer isn't capable? None of them could sing well. And it's the most unauthentic way to select a song for Eurovision of all. Some lame, LAAAAAAAAAAME young wannabe-singer wins a talent show and then they pick out one or a couple average songs that might not even suit the singer and has absolutely no connection with the singer. Like the lyrics will be meaningless to them or perhaps not even suitable when they are so young. :(

Μarko, finally you are MF-obsessed. What counts for you is just only quantity and not quality....................

Axel
Preselection is already boring, if all countries will do what you have written it will be criminally boring! :S lol :D
The best method is NF festival with 4 or 3 semifinals, second chance and final!

@Tohoshinki ★

I partly agree! The best method is when a broadcaster chooses a singer internally and the public can choose the song via SMS, otherwise ( a NF, where several singers compete ) the singer with the most fans will win, and the best example for that was Serbia this year, Emina's song was much better than Milan's, but Milan had much more fans than her + he's a ''heartthrob'' lol!

@ AvatArmenia

NF festivals are for me the best and the most exciting :D Eurovision is also about entertainment, so if almost every single participating country chose to select their singers internally, it would be a bit boring :)

I DON'T KNOW THE REASON WHY CYBC WILL ORGANISE THIS STUPID TALENT SHOW.... THERE ARE MANY GREAT VOICES HERE IN CYPRUS... THE 2 GREEK X FACTOR WINNERS WERE CYPRIOTS AS WELL AS THE GREEK IDOL WINNER WAS CYPRIOT ... I THINK THAT IT WILL BE WASTE OF MONEY AS FROM THOSE 10 PERSONS ONLY 1 OR 2 CAN STAND ON EUROVISION STAGE ....
