Lena Meyer-Landrut visits Sweden
Lena's winning Song Satellite was a major it in Sweden. It already entered the single charts the week before the contest and after the victoy in Oslo, it reached the number one spot, where it stayed for three weeks. The album My cassette player peaked at number 31 in the album charts. The new single Touch a new day will be available from 6th August.

yes, it's one of my favourite sitcoms. but I don't know for whom I feel more sympathy... fran or her. however, cc babcock is more funnier I have to admit.

yes, let's stop argue.
but apart from my personal estimation about her, I think she ain't that outstanding and different as she perfectly fits to a new trend of eurovision winners.
over a period of juries's time the winning entries were almost ballads or slow songs being performed rather simple (until 1997).
during the last years, all victories were captured either by acts with huge, striking performances (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008) or ethnical songs ([2002], 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007), usually uptempo ones.
both, in 2009 as well as in 2010, it was time for entertaining, "outstanding" (not ment mandatory positive), perhaps a bit polarising, personalities beyond grand high-tech effects but also less based on talented voices, prominent compositions, phantastic professional presentations and so on.
so I for myself see a lot of similarities between alexander rybak (btw I didn't like him either 
) and lena meyer-landrut even though their styles and songs were completely different.
let's see how long this serial goes on continuing, I think it's harder to conform.

Few minutes ago I saw the tragedy in Duisburg on TV! 
My sincerest condolences to all the families of all the 19 ppl who died, may they rest in peace.
Thanks Luis..... I so hope it will be Berlin... I book my flights straight away and I can stay in the appartment of one of my German Collegues over here at work..... My God really happy about Germany winning, this will be one of the cheapest contest (for us) ever.... Germany is a lot cheaper than UK...
According to eurovision.tv, 'the decision is likely be announced in September'. I hope it's sooner

Indeed, especially Netherlands' 11th place with only televoting in Semi2!
