UK: Nadia Almada bids for Eurovision
Nadia Almada was born in Portugal, moved to the United Kingdom in 1996 to start a new life. Nadia entered the Big Brother house in 2004 as the first transexual housemate in the United Kingdom's version of the Endemol TV show, in which she went on to win, with 74% of the final votes, and won £63,500. Nadia informed none of her housemates about her past whilst in the house and explained to Big Brother that if she won the show, it would mean a lot to her because it means she had been accepted.
Soon after winning Big Brother, Nadia decided to record a song, which was released in December 2004, the song was a somewhat success for Nadia and reached number 27 in the UK Single chart. Six years later, Nadia has made the decision to publically announce her plans to represent the United Kingdom in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, with the backing of UK Broadcaster, Channel 4, the channel in which Big Brother is currently broadcast.

This is beyond a joke...I'm sorry but why do Big Brother contestants seem to think they have a divine right to "do" Eurovision? Can ANY of them actually sing?

Can she actually sing? The last transexual in the show couldn't, even if she did win. So if it's all about attention seeking and publicity - forget it. ESC has been there and done that.

What kind of recognition is that? and who recognises this distortion of (Turkey 1915) events? most of the countries which have recognised have committed the most greatest atrocities of mankind in history or have political tension with Turkey. So who is pointing the finger at who?
and why recognise after so many years? why not recognise when if first "supposedly" happend? why does it take so much years of hard work on behalf of the international armenian lobbies to bring about international recognition? and why not recognise for free-of-charge?
I am NOT denying the fact that some Armenians died during WW1 in Turkey but I cannot seem to regard this as "Genocide". Why after 600 years? why during WW1? when Turkey was invaded by international forces and was suffering with internal nationalist/religious uprisings?

In the topic about esctoday.com TOP TEN: No. 10, 9 and 8 he wrote, that Harel with his entry 'Milim' would have been in TOP 3 if he'd have represented Turkey! He will never stop blaming Turkey and Armenia for their huge diaspora voters in the foreign, almost everytime when he enters to this site he writes s**t about those countries. But I don't care, all I can say is that his own country should take Eurovision seriously for once and should send a masterpiece instead of singers, who are even unpopular there in UK.
