Lucy
Tom Dice releases new single
Tom Dice represented Belgium in Oslo with the song Me and my guitar. He won the first semi final and finished sixth in the final, which was the highest placing for Belgium since 2003. The song was also a commercial success in many countries reaching the charts in Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In Belgium, the song was a number one hit both on the Waloon and Flemish single charts. His new song Lucy was written and produced by Tom Dice himself along with Tom Helsen.

nicwe......................
He has nice, pleasant songs on his album. I like his voice. Hopefully next year we'll get another gem like Ishtar from Belgium!
So weak...
First of all thank you all for putting the televoting troll to it's place ! Especially marcus as his opinion counts a lot
Now some people can take their arguments about televoting zombies and their opinion and go to bed..!
On the topic : Lucy as the whole teardrops album is sooo wonderful..! But "a soldier for his country" is the best by far imo..! Tom proves with his voice he was the deserved winner of the first semi..go Tom !! And let the trolls throw as much mud they want...you are way above all those !
Nice song and he a great voice and is very much like James Blunt in many ways musically wise.
"Me & my guitar" was 'head & shoulders' above most of the songs this year and just showed us that you don't need manic dancers leaping around the stage singing some dreadful dated song. His song was simple & beautiful and reminded me of what Eurovision use to be like i.e. a song contest with some great songs. Belgium 12 points!
Im looking through the videos of the songs from his album on YouTube and I see that there is on there called....BLEEDING LOVE!!!
A cover version of the Leona Lewis song!!!
The UK, please take note!!!
Well done to Tom for releasing a new single!!!
my mum knows him
That song of him above ( 'Lucy' ) is good, but not as good as his Eurovision entry, which was a true masterpiece ( I voted for it by the way ).
I still can't understand how my country awarded the untalented ''singer'' Safura with 12 points but nothing to Tom Dice with his magnificent voice.
Beautiful song, sung by a beautiful singer
I just can't get over the fact at how similar his voice is to James Blunt's.
Love them both
Best of Luck with your career Tom
@liam clark
there is no legal positivsm about stockfish's wishes, ain't it?
the fact is that belgium achieved 14th-most votes in the final. so it will not be important what less than 200 people think if millions have another point of view. ;-)
@Liam,
I know dear friend... I only wanted to point out what our dear friend CC Catch believes...
@ Axel & CC
The rules this year contained both jury votes and televotes, thus the results this year ended up with Tom Dice in 6th. Marcus has reported this information based on the rules this year. This is not 1993 or 2004. We had both jury vote and televote this year, so 6th is the position that Tom received.
Otherwise we can just make up our own rules like this: The United Kingdom was 24th, not 25th because I don't accept that Belarus is a country. Just because you don't "accept" something doesn't make it true.
@ Marcus
Keep up the good work!
I think the lyrics of "lucy" are better than the one of the esc-entry. less kitschy and amateurish.
@marcus
nice idea. ;-) but do you know the jury-results of this year by country?
so it's the easiest to inherit how the majority hath decided.
@AvatArmenia
he deserved the place people wanted to see him on. if he had gotten most votes, he would have deserved to win. but so it was a 14th position out of the 25 finalists.
There you are Marcus..... can you take countries with A and G please....
CC Catch
As far as I know he was 6th in the final!!! And he deserved that!!! More than that he deserved much more!!
LOL. Well, I think I'll make up my own rules too. I will only county the jury votes cast by countries whose names start with an A.
if it make the jury-lovers happy why not write both results?
but to conceal how the majority hath voted is not a reliable way of journalism and will always run against.
wanted to say lyrics could be better!
Well-done!!! But lyrics are bit simple!
I like it more than "me and my guitar". nice song.
but I have to correct it once again: ;-)
he placed 3rd in his semi-final (so won at best a final-ticket) and 14th in a final without three top-10-countries from the semis.
@Marcus Klier,
my friend, you shouldn't have written that Tom Dice won the first semi as certain people here do not accept that fact.... Really funny, they only see the televoting results as the only and true results..... But thanks ever so much for all the good work and info you sent us every day...
nice song.......
