In October, the chosen artists will perform their final songs and the top 15 for the national final will be determined. In the national final, the winner will be chosen by a mixture of jury voting and televoting. The show will be hosted by Tatiana Goncharova and Timur Mirushnishenko.
In 2010, Ukraine was represented by Alyosha, who finished seventh in the second semi final and tenth in the final with her song Sweet people.

I think this year's entry has been the best from Ukraine.
Zlata for Eurovision!! She's the best!
Ukraine has not every been my number one favrourite. But they have sent some great acts! Both good songs, great artists and great shows.... just not yet the perfect combination for me. But another victory would not be surprising if Ukraine continues the (at least for me) positive trend.
I love Tina Karol "Show me your love", she sings very well, song is quite nice, her outfit is AWESOME. dancers are cool and very good choreography and outfit for them as well!
I love Ani Lorak's outfit and performance, but I hate song!
I love GreenJolly's song very much and performance and everything about that entry except lyrics, i don't wanna any kind of politics in ESC!
I have to admit that I liked "Wild dances" back then, but now I don't like it very much, choreography is good thou!
The worst Ukrainian entry for me is definitely 2009, I don't like anything about that one, it's among the worst ESC entries in HISTORY, can't stand it!
I like Verka Serduchka's entry and I personally think that's the best Verka's song, but I strongly dislike the fact it ended 2nd in ESC, I think it's shame and sad for other contestants that year who have AMAZING vocal abilities!
2003 was boring and really not worth any attention for me! Not so good vocals as well!
2010 is together with 2006 my favorite Ukrainian entry, but totally different! I strongly dislike the way it was chosen thus I boycoted it in Oslo and didn't vote for it even if it deserved!
Off course you can say matey... no prob. Everyone has his/her own opinion
@ Axel
exactly..it's my personal opinion..should I not say it ?
for me
2003 : amateur
2004 : trash that could easily be last being another country..nothing at all
2005 : I only comment on music and that wasn't..
2006 : better than others but still cheap..
2007 : the absolute ultimate the definition of trash..an insult to the contest as a music event..drug queens must feel insulted too after that..
2008 : funny, fake but impressive..plus if you abstract the political votes it gets 154 points whilst the russian nightmare (on that i totally agree..!) gets 152 points
2009 : if i wanted to watch vulgar porn there is cable tv and internet..the night of eurovision is not the right place..
2010 : The best ever ukrainian entry..Alyosha was the voice of the contest..still i said it after the contest..even the people of the ex soviet blog have connected ukraine with extravagant kitsch shows and that was too much of a quality to believe it was actually ukraine..I hope we ll see more entries like alyosha in the next years..then maybe ukraine will justify the title of the most succesful esc country (always according to marcus formula of course..)
@Just me and my guitar
I don't agree with your phrase "after all the trash that Ukraine fed us untill..."... that's your personal opinion. I think Ukraine sent some really great entries and much more important some great performers.
2003 : I agree wasn't very good
2004 : Wild dances was just great live and so deserved victory
2005 : Indeed that was trash
2006 : Tina Karol has a really great voice and the whole performance was very strong
2007 : Transvestite, joke or not, it's a great dance track and still get people straight over to the dance floor
2008 : Shady lady... Ani is just a great singer, beautiful and the song should have given Ukraine it's second victory over that horrible, boring Russian song
2009 : Not the best singer, but by far the best show of the evening
2010 : Alyosha was together with the Georgian singer defenitely the best voice and once again a very impressive performane.
So all in all, only 2 minor entries out of 8....
And please people do not answer to the televoting troll..no more topics infected with it's comments are needed really..let it correct the results, bash artists voted by the juries etc..we all know in what an imaginary world it lives in..
oh I see again on the list Zlata Ognevych ! She was the best in the 2nd ukrainian national final this year but Alyosha (with sweet people) was still stunning...I hope she gets a chance to represent ukraine in esc next year..A second in a row great ukrainian participation would be very satisfying after all the trash ukraine has fed us till 2009..and plz don't choose that drag queen..! or the scary Mamo lady..!! the worst act of 2007 and the worst act of 2009 competing..

Never say never -
There's always a chance for improvement!!
LOL )))
LOL @ the people calling Verka a "she". Sorry, but HE will never be a she.
I'd like to see Assia Akhat for Ukraine if she left the sluttiness and provided a song like this one:

Well looks like it will be better than both finals last year
Daniel
OK!
Maybe I passed there when I went to Luton airport!
Once I was lost somewhere near Edgware Road!
I've moved out to the northern suburbs, so I don't think you know my part! I did live in Kensington for about 3 years in the 1980s though.
Daniel!!
Yes, yes of course!!
Where are you in London?
Now I know many parts and neighborhoods!

My favorite part is Kensington!

Welcome back Marko! Hope you enjoyed visiting my city
It's possible that Albania won't organize FIK for ESC next year!
I hope that's not true!
Axel
Yes!!

But Armiya is the best!!
Guys,
just let CC Catch in peace... he/she lives in his own little world...
@ CC Catch
I called you "bustard", you know, that big bird. Or did you failed at your exams of biology?? It's a pitty that notes can't be decide by televote too, isn't it??
That will never happen Marko..... pity really
Daniel,
no not been on holiday as yet... I fly out this friday to sunny Spain.
Alexandra Burke will be the best choice for UK, or at least song like her new single: "Start without you" performed by some unknown singer!
http://www.youtube.c(...)/watch?v=4P7dFqpvfs0
It can win ESC by landslide!
CC Catch
In that case diaspora, block and simpathy voting is as much obstacle as much "non proffessional" jury so they both diserve each other!!! None of them is pure as water!

Awwww really?
I can't believe!
It was AMAZING! I saw as many things as I can in 2 weeks, I loved it a lot!
@Mario Mir
I might be young, but do own the knowledge not calling people b*stard* for a plenty of years. so my manners and ways to debate are even a lot more adult than yours - despite the age. ;-)
for regards to content read avatarmenia's answer.
@w s
yes, I'm gonna do it anytime I see wrong information.
@avatarmenia
it ain't possible to estimate popular music in another way than by majority-voting. things are different for e.g. classical music. on the other hand, in this case "jurors" do not have to be "professional™" thence they coudn't judge in that way.
How was London, Marko. We missed you. And we had lots of great and heated discussions.
