No. 1 - Remedios Amaya with ¿Quién maneja mi barca? (Spain 1983)
As always between 1979 and 1999, the Spanish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 was chosen internally. The broadcaster decided to go for Remedios Amaya and her song ¿Quién maneja mi barca?, which UK commentator Terry Wogan would later describe as "very, very ethnic". He also said that Spain deserved "credit for trying" but the juries obviously did not hear him as none of them gave Spain any points that year making it one of two countries getting nul that year. The title of the song translates as Who is sailing my boat?, but given the result in Munich she should have probably rather considered where her boat was sailing. Both song and performance were heavily criticised in the Spanish media and it took years until the singer could establish her as a popular artist, mainly in the genre of Flamenco music. In 2004, she still said on television that she was proud of her participation and considering how much that song became a fan favourite, it is no surprise.
It was the third and last time that Spain finished last with nul points - previously it had happened in 1962 and 1965.

If this hadn't been 1st, I would've probably jumped from the balcony. This is such an amazing song and performance. Deserved top 5 that year, for sure! Probably the best 0-pointer, too, though Germany 1964 is really stunning, too.

In my perhaps not so humble opinion, this song didn't deserve 0 - I would have given it -5! But I like it more than Aldri i Livet and Lass Ihn. I look forward to seeing the least liked entry.
Lol, what a joke! This is the ugliest song in Eurovision history without a doubt and also one of the ugliest songs ever made. And the outfit?

Only Portuguese debut and Lithuanian debut were 0 pointers in ESC history!

Indeed, the 17 points awarded to Spain 94 could have been shared with the Lithuanian entry.
Another debut of 1994 - Russian debut Youddiph - "Vyechniy stranik" 
Norway was saved from another 0 pointer in 2004 when they got 3 from Sweden.
Part of the problem with Lithuania 1994 may have been that it was a very strong year, it wasn't such a bad song.
Marlain was saved from 0 points when the UK awarded 2 points in 1999.
It seems that I like so many songs which got few points, I like them more than 0 pointers... almost all Polish, portuguese and Lithuanian entries got just a few points
Lithuanian debut entry was so AMAZING, but 0 pointer, I totally forgot it and now remembered! Ity's actually my favorite 0 pointer, not Gunvor...
In 1998 there was a BBC programme about behind the scenes in Birmingham. A member of the Greek delegation was a bit of a nightmare, complaining about everything during rehearsals and making accusations of discrimination and a colonial attitude.
And I certainly hope that Marcus won't stop publishing his top 10 because of some obnoxious weirdos that obviously don't have a life or if they have one are terribly frustrated with what they have to call their lives!
Dervish (Got their only points from the Albanian jury) and Stone & Stone (got their single point from the second last jury = Malta) have to be on this list too.
And I agree. The studio version of Greece 98 is nice, but the live performance ... Well, this thread has seen enough foul language and I don't want to add to the pile ...
Yes, Paschalis, I prefer the studio version, but I have seen far ktschier stuff on stage.

Intars Bususlis and Isis Gee should be there coz they recived only few diaspora and neighbor votes..
Greece 98 wasn't a bad song, the performance though was worse than horrible, words can't describe how awful, kitsch and bad it was!

Greece 98 got its 12 points from Cyprus. I would not have given it 12 points, but it didn't deserve 0 points either. The songs is actually growing on me.
