Sweden: Televised web joker selection on 8th November
Entries can be submitted to SVT from today until 21st September. The internet voting will start on 11th October with five songs qualifying for the live show to be broadcast on SVT24 on 8th November. Two songs will be chosen to join the other 30 semi finalists.
The web joker was introduced last year. However, winners MiST only finished seventh in their semi final thus not qualifying for the final or the second chance round.

It's one song which will be selected a long before MF to participate in it! This year it will be 2 of them, last year it was one!
What's a web joker?
Maaaan, SVT are looking into every possible way of complicating their national selection. Semi finals (for anybody who likes MelodiFestival) is fine, but even there, haven't they heard of "Get up and sing, and wait for the vote" instead of a million rounds in one show ?.... and now the internet wildcard is also a televised semi of it's own.....
(you wonder why I don;t watch NF in foreign countries?)
Well, web voting can be fun because it means more songs to listen to, but I expect the same amateur crap this time too. The song that won last time was horrible.
good luck to everyone..
GREAT, I like that web joker and I'm glad it will be again this year!
