why ruin the real thing?
The original is perfection so why vandalise it? :o(
horrible, simply horrible new version
1973 is probably among my 3 or 4 most favourite ESC years when it comes to songs' stuff.
I advise everyone that has edited her or his profile recently to have a check for accuracy as it seems esctoday.com has reseted petititions.
not only the comments are gone but also some parts – at least of my profile – are damaged. actually I only mailed esctoday.com to delete certain trolls but something seems to happened wrong. :(
Indeed, was there any need to erase so many comments? This remix does nothing for this wonderful song. It is too cluttered and rather pointless. Tu te reconnaitras remains my 73 nº1 closely followed by that impeccable live performance by the Bendik Singers from Norway.
Impossible to compare this "stupid" sort of song with that wonderful "Eres tu" by Mocedades, placed 2nd. The spanish entry deserved the victory but the current eastern mafia at the time of voting was performed by french speakers countries in the 70s. A true pity that a sucessful hymn in the whole world like "Eres tú", number 1 in the USA was underrated. Talking about the new version of "Tu te rec...." is even more oldfashion than the older one. In short, this is one of the worst vitories in the ESC.
This is one of my all time favourite ESC winners! A mediocre (putting it mildly) remix ain't gonna change that;-)
Dear Anne-Marie, I like "Tu te reconnaîtras", but maybe it would be time to focus on another project ?!
Why were all the original comments deleted? Anyway, I still think it's awful, a great song ruined.
Oh my God, Anne Marie had a fab voice in the Eurovision , however this mix in my opinion has ruined the original. When she sang it was class, I know it's over 40 years ago, however this remix does not do justice to the original, x
