News - B&H: BH Eurosong 2012 Show planned for March | Eurovision Song Contest News - Azerbaijan 2012 

BHRT, the Bosnian national broadcaster has informed esctoday that they plan hold the BH Eursong 2012 Show in March where the Bosnian 2012 Eurovision representative Maya Sar will present her 2012 Eurovision entry. BHRT will hold a special press conference soon where more details and information concerning the 2012 Bosnian Eurosong Show and its concept will be revealed.

Maya Sar, a young and talented singer and songwriter will participate at the 57th Eurovision Song Contest under the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Public Broadcaster of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT), an active member of the EBU, decided based on the rules and regulations of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 to hire an artist that has achieved significant results and success with her songwriting skills, wonderful voice and distinctive musical style, in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well  as in the regional music scene.

Maya Sar is a songwriter, composer and singer who works with the biggest names from the Balkan region. For many years she has been a member of Dino Merlin's band, with whom she performed at the 56th Eurovision Song Contest in Germany.

She is the initator of the ragional humanitarian project in the fight against cervical cancer Moj je zivot moja  pjesma (My life is my song) and the composer and songwriter of the eponymous song. For this action, she recived the "Gold plaque of the great human heart“ by the International League of Humanists (Dr. Elisabeth Rehn). With her the first self composed single Nespretno (Awkwardly), Maya Sar achieved remarkable success and gained the sympathy of the audience. She has composed for other artists in her family studio Long play with her husband and producer Mahir Sarihodzic, and has also composed her first solo album.

Maya Sar will sing her own song next May in Baku. The premiere of the song is planned to be premiered in March in special show on the BHT 1 and BH Radio 1.
