Breaking news: Brainstorm bass player found dead

Gundars Mauševics, bass guitar player and backing vocal of Brainstorm, Latvia's first participant in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, was found dead 50 meters from his car after an accident on the way from Riga to Jelgava.
Gundars 'Muminsh' Mauševics was one of the founders of the Latvian band Brainstorm, which has been one of the most succesful Latvian pop music projects in the past years. In 2000, their Eurovision song My star finished third in the contest and it has been valuated as one of the most succesful Latvian entries. In 2000, Latvia participated for the first time in the contest. According to the official police statement, the accident happened some days ago when Muminsh was on his way from Riga to his hometown Jelgava. I'm looking for words at the top of the mountain, to tell you my friend that we reached the end Things are so different - a little insane, they will be us and maybe the sad rain (from the song Weekends are not my happy days) We'd like to wish the members of Brainstorm and Gundars Mauševics' family our deepest condolences.
