Flanders: Ruslana first to reach number 1 since 1987
Ruslana writes history in the Flemish single charts. With her Wild dances she's the first Eurovision Song Contest winner to reach the number 1 spot in the Flemish Ultratop since Johnny Logan in 1987.
In her second week in the Flemish single charts, Ruslana went from 6 to number 1, making her the first Eurovision Song Contest winner to reach the top spot in the Ultratop since Johnny Logan. In 1987, his Hold me now reached number 1 after he won the Eurovision Song Contest in Brussels.
Furthermore, Lena Philipsson also enters Ultratop at 48 with It hurts. This year's Swedish representative is the third 2004 Eurovision Song Contest participant in Ultratop, as Xandee's 1 Life is still on number 17 after charting for already 15 consecutive weeks. German representative Max is ready to enter Ultratop, being on 16 in Ultratip with Can't wait untill tonight.
In Wallonia things are going slower for Ruslana. Wild dances is new on 38 this week.
