April fools day: who's disqualified ?
Danish and Estonian songs disqualified, hosts refuse to come up at May 25 due to busy schedules and the Eurovision Song Contest might even be cancelled. All April fool jokes for sure, but some are shocked anyway.
ESC-DK reported today that the Danish song 'Tell me who ou are' was disqualified, because it already appeared on an album last year.
The Estonian news website UNO.ee reported that 'Runaway' was disqualified after R. Kelly complained at the EBU. They also wrote that Marko Matvere refused to perform as host because ETV wants his hair to be cut off. Anneli Peebo also refused due to a busy schedule.
Some fans received faxes that stated Eurovision 2002 will be cancelled, because the Estonian Music Authority could not agree with the performance of 24 songs in public.
Happy April fools day :)
